Fucking hell, I hope this incident doesn't cause Zenimax to force the esm format to become encrypted (limiting modding in exchange for drm).

Bethesda DLCs have been on torrent sites since forever, everyone knows they work like a normal mod and Beth doesn't care.

Less than 1% of owners are brazilian. Granted only barely over 1% of FNV owners are brazilian and that's cheap and was discounted a billion times.

People here generally don't care for SP games.

Deaths are too random in Survival. Running around in Power Armor, then run into alley way, got hit by some legendary raider firing basic combat rifle. Instant killed in 1.5 secs from full HP.
Hell, even rescuing Valentine resulted in several broken pieces of PA. I checked what they were using, .45 SMG and .10 mm. Had I equipped those, I would barely kill them in a full clip burst since their fedoras absorbed so much incoming damage.
What sissy uses power armor in Survival mode? Just use a lot of chems. Psycho-Jet is instant win for most encounters.

I thought about investing more on settlement but decided that aside from producing three Vegetable Starch Crops (Mutfruit, Corn and Tato), clean bed to save game and a source of purified water to fill bottles with, there's not much else going for it.

It's probably easier to just keep Sanctuary highly populated as a production center, while the rest are treated as courier services and rest/resupply spots. With just 3 population (one guard, one farmer, one courier on standby), it's self sufficient enough.

I wish I could just radio Preston though since trekking back to Sanctuary just to get his missions updated is such a bitch. I just wanted to unlock the Castle.

Be sure to help out anyone who needs it! Anyway, there's really no need to bother with settlements even on Survival. You'll find beds nearly everywhere. Empty bottles (beer, milk, whatever) can be filled and turned into purified water at any water pump. Other than water and the crops for making adhesives (which aren't in that short supply if you know what you're upgrading and spend it wisely) they serve little purpose outside of roleplaying.

Weird how they marketed it like it was just another Point Lookout when in actual fact it's completely different in terms of story, tone and world design.

The Fog effect needs some serious optimization, it looks good and it really achieves the effect they were going for but holy fuck it will destroy your framerate, it also has a gameplay purpose so I don't think you can just disable it like you could with the interior dust effect.

That Lever rifle is fucked, New Vegas was able to have it reload the correct number of bullets so I don't know why Bethesda didn't include it since it's such an obvious flaw.

Synth addition to Fallout is all this meme of replicants. Everyone CAN BE REPLICANTS. EVERYONE.
But it's done so poorly it turns into a bad joke. And this hype over possibility of protag being synth is just another form of fangasm taken too far.

Just like this one.

Can be cruel at times? The Institute did shit you'd expect from Snidely Whiplash if he'd been raised by Skeletor. 70% of the problems in-game are either something they did intentionally or because an experiment of theirs got away from them. And they have almost zero fucks to give. "So we've lowered the quality of life for a hundred miles in all directions and turned the populace into paranoid douches. Nobody ever said this would be painless."

Meanwhile the Brotherhood are a step away from being the Enclave and the Railroad is a mix of an SJW and Che Guevara on meth. The Minutemen are the most likeable faction and dealing with them means being around an asian lady always on her period and my 'subordinate' who sends me off to wipe someone's ass for them.

What? They were like this since Fallout 1. Minutemen are just bunch of halfwits who can't produce anything on their own until PC stumbles by and fixes stuff all by himself. Funny thing is only Brotherhood has some semblance of logic because they were designed by Black Isles not Bethesda. Didn't stop them to make them idiotic at times like nuking Institute instead of salvaging their technology just for the sake of blowing shit up.
