Lmao, wow. It does look like a bad Xcom mod/Alpha. Maybe they licensed out the engine for a TV game? Would like to know the full story on this.

XCOM certainly didn't look amazing but it looked on-par and had a good, consistent artsyle.

The amount of bugs and animation glitches, now that makes XCOM look like a mod/alpha

XCOM came out in 2012. The game runs uber smooth, unless you have some fucking shit computer. Also, laptops aren't made for gaming you filthy peasant.

And yes, the game looks pretty serviceable for the genre.

What do you want from me? I lost my apartment, my job and all my possessions. A 200 EUR laptop was all I could afford at the time and since I don't really play games much anymore, it suits me just fine. It's a massive gaming laptop anyway.

Wtf, why are you taking it so personally? TBS is complaining about "poor optimization". Dude owns a similar setup to what i had in 2006. That's almost a 9 year old rig, yet he's crying. And i thoguht it was common knowledge that laptops are second grade PCs when it comes to gaming performance? Gaming laptops? Pure marketing.

Chill, just derping around. It's not a terrible game - I've sunk some 30-40 hours into EW - but nominating it for one of the best of the decade is just silly.

Do hate the blown-up toyish graphics design, though.
