Anyway, tips for other newbies: do not fuck with Takeda unless you enjoy headdesk. My ~1k ranged units were raped in two turns by their cavalry. Also, just like in original Panzer General, it is quite possible to fuck up your game early-on, ie wasting time and creating sub-par army, which turns Demon Army pretty impossible. I was on turn 94 but had to restart. New game is going much, much better.
FYI, even after 90 turns where the demon army plot is forced, you can stall the battle at Honnoji as long as you like while you power up units, go through dungeons for items, and buy all of the nice reinforcements from distant lands.
The secret to Takeda is to blitz, blitz, blitz. Ignore their attacks on other provinces, just the defend against the ones in their own land and take their castles ASAP. You want either diviners with defend all, tacticians with buffs and debuffs, and/or soldiers with defend all + defend boost. Or wait till 2nd game and use battle permits

Haven't got any. I've mostly used the satisfaction bonus to get +50 troops for every unit. Are the reinforcements really useful?
A few are only decentish, but others are ridiculously overpowered.
Uruza can be upgraded with an attack that hits all enemies AND drains 1 turn from them. Also has a max level of 75, which is great for captain fights. Did I mention she could drain 1 turn from all enemies? No? Let me say it again. All enemies lose a turn. You can do it multiple times. Stack it with Kenshin's innate skill and enemies literally sit through battle helpless, with absolutely no defense.
Leila is a knight, which is a unit class that combines the attack of a warrior, defense of a footsoldier, and even better attack skills (2x damage against enemies with more units).
Maria blows things up with a rocket launcher. Not kidding.
If you don't know what to do with the satisfaction, pick the 'raise everyone's affection by 3' one. Good skills and stats are generally better then more troops after you get past around 500-1k troops. I believe their are diminishing returns as you add more soldiers.
