There aren't that many codexers who are playing and discussing about the game.
Really? So no point at all??Crafting seems pointless as there's a blacksmith that'll upgrade armor and weapons for a little bit of money to tier 3 right after prologue.

Damn. Looks like I'll be taking Vasco over Kurt thenReally? So no point at all??
There could be a point in it to save money and have the convenience of being able to craft when there isn't a blacksmith around to do it for you. I'd probably take it if I was running a heavy weapon warrior type build. Otherwise, the other talents are generally more useful.
Money isn't an issue and there's pseudo quicktravel which allows quick access to the blacksmith. Other talents are better.Really? So no point at all??Crafting seems pointless as there's a blacksmith that'll upgrade armor and weapons for a little bit of money to tier 3 right after prologue.
I only managed to play a little bit last night and I haven't made up my mind how I feel about it yet. There's a lot to dislike (those teeth... dear god) but also a lot to love. I feel like it's a solid game for the money I paid for it, but the flaws are still very jarring, Still, I'd rather spend 5 minutes in Greedfall than any amount of time in any of the other games that released this month. There aren't that many codexers who are playing and discussing about the game.
We're busy playing the game, the thread is full of people who aren't even playing it for a reason. There aren't that many codexers who are playing and discussing about the game.
It's an odd one because I don't see how "Are you feeling lonely" is an obvious intro "I want to fuck you". I mean, it is quite a fruity thing to say to a guy. But there are literally no other options! I think nearly every person would just click on it without thinking, and one can't help but wonder if this was deliberately designed...It's not overt, so I don't care, but I had a chuckle when the first companion dialogue you get is about confessing your gay feelings.
It's now very positive (80%).
The first day peak player number is 11,264, much higher than all time peaks of Spiders' previous games (around 1.5K~2.6K), half of that of ELEX.
And it's still the #1 global top seller, above Gears 5.
Codex: I love this it's so much like Gothic
Developers in interviews: Our main influence was Dragon Age: Inquisition
Comparing it with Gothic is stupid Gothic had an open world with a simulated living world where every NCP and monster has a custom day-night circle.
It's definitely closer to the early Witcher games which were inspired by post Baldurs Gate Bioware.
I can't stress enough how much I am enjoying this despite hating Technomancer. People who claim it's just like the older Spiders games are lying.
People are nuts. Everybody whining about how combat is too easy... I put it on Extreme, holy shit, it's tough as fuck, I keep dying over and over.

Finally cleared out the Catacombs yesterday. After re-mastering parry, I did much better with skellies, and then took out Pinwheel after only a few tries.
