Yeah, you don't care about making your game better for the players. You're so spiteful that we should just be glad you don't keep a log of ideas suggested by people you don't like, then you actually remove any of those features if they actually did make it into the game. What a snowflake.
I like how you're done pretending not to be a hater anymore.

Before I take the plunge; Are there many human settlements in the game such as the village of crowl?
edit: I can't put it off by making excuses anymore. I will do this.

The way vitality works is one of the most annoying features in the game. When the shit you do takes it down by a percentage and restoration brings it back by a set amount of points, it is almost begging you to NOT increase it. Except that you can't.

Somebody should bug Cleve about fixing it. If enough people gripe maybe he'll do something. But then again maybe ponies will fly.

Why would I respond to feedback from a guy who got the game as a gift and has done nothing but insult the game, me and the blobber genre in general? It's going to take more than ponies flying to ever get me to take you seriously. In fact, I am using your feedback to make the Vitality mechanism more irritating and even more discouraging now that I know it is your weak spot. I will actually hard code a check in for the name "GandGolf" and make Vitality drain by 10% every step you take.

Remember, it's not the players I am ignoring feedback from. It's just you. Forever. I will eventually code up a heuristic series of checks to determine if the player is "GandGolf" so I can set the "isGandGolf = true" binary flag. This will trigger a special module that is loaded that resets all logic and functions in the game to the pre-beta 0.02 version from 2008.

Eventually the AI fuzzy logic will get so good it will be able to detect you playing from anywhere in the world and make certain you never see the game in any form better than the original free beta from 2008, even if you log into another Steam account.

For the first time in 12 years, I have absolutely no regrets in paying premium price for a premium game. Cleveland Mark Blakemore thank you for your services rendered.

Actually if it results in the game being updated and the bugs being fixed for other players that would be a good thing. But it's doubtful there will be any updates before 2021 if at all.

I read the entire manual and finished making my party and took a few steps in eerie waste getting acquainted with the character screens and ui. So far my only real complaint is that some of the texts are small and I have to strain my eyes to see.

It is rare for me to go beyond a smile and snicker from reading things online. This made me genuinely laugh and nearly tear up. Thank you.

The green hand gang :baka:

I have found a bug: If you choose to shield one of your party members in combat and the shielder character dies, the shielded character will continue to be shielded even though the shielder is dead.

Is Jester worth investing multiclasses into later on? I couldn't access it from character creation.

It's the only class you cannot get in character creation. You either have to multiclass several times with the right race and in the right order - or you can recruit a Jester NPC later on.

Damage spells seem completely worthless right now. They always miss or fizzle or get saved for by everything unless I spend all of my spell points at once in one turn, leaving me unable to cast spells for the rest of the battle. By comparison my wizard is practically averaging more damage over time by jabbing with his walking stick.

Found another bug: When I put footnotes on the overseer, they usually end up becoming part of my party name for some reason.

Thank you. Now I can finally afford those double ply garbage bags at CostCo I use to rainproof the shopping cart I sleep under at night.

Ok that's my chance - sequel when? Or anything new, really.

DOOMSDAY CULT is being submitted to Steam for approval as a pre-release. It will almost certainly be accepted and will be published before the end of the year. Survival horror.

This game was actually finished in 2014 but I got new assets and have redone it from scratch. The original was good, this new version is truly great. On par with Penumbra I hope. The original version sort of went through a beta test with a friend I sent it to and they really enjoyed it.

It's not an all-time classic but it is very scary, maybe 10 hours of gameplay and has some cool mechanics.

I have never mentioned it on the Codex but one of the scariest things I have ever strongly desired to make a survival horror game about was the Heaven's Gate cult and Marshall Applewhite.

The idea that a guy could talk you into cutting your own testicles off and get you to take potassium cyanide is really, really disturbing to me.

I had a dream about it back in 2010 and always wanted to make a survival horror game about it.

I found out recently that the Heaven's Gate website, the original website from like the mid '90s, is actually still operational. It still looks the exact same too. If everyone from the Heaven's Gate cult died, who is still running it? Did a member decide to voluntarily stay behind on Earth to continue spreading the word? Probably the smartest cultist in the world.

If that is the one where they commited suicide via poison in the US, then yes, there were at least a couple that stayed behind explicitly for things like that, IIRC. They are getting along in years, though, and so won't be around forever.

Another bug I've found: Many spells such as magic missile that are described to affect one target actually affect multiple targets when cast.

I just fell into the pit with Hobknob and thought I was ruined. I don't know if I'm lucky or if some of these status affects are unbalanced, because my necromancer ended up using his item to curse Hobknob, preventing him from attacking for the rest of the fight, although I had to res half my party in the middle of combat.

WHOEVER MADE RUST MAGIC IS A SICK BASTARD

Resurrection description says it takes away constitution. Is this a permanent loss, and is there any other negative effect of resurrection? I think I saw one of my characters constitution was higher after resting.
