Of course it's going to be worse than HoMM3. Ubisoft, early access. Wish this was M&M instead.

I also wish I did the next HoMM.

One of my ideas for HoMM 3.5 was to sometimes make neutral units consist of mixed classes like for example party of Gnolls aside Gnolls and Gnoll Marauders could include some special units like Gnoll Swordsman, Gnoll Shaman, Gnoll Poacher, etc.

Seems like there's a decent chance they might release a new might and magic game as well at this rate.

Meh. The art style is the problem IMO, it looks.. fancy. Fancy mobile game. There's a cartoony vibe to it.. It needs a Tolkien vibe instead. Something oldschool, something colorful, yet gritty.

edit: GOT IT - it looks like Heroes 4 remade by asians.

Enroth is better than Ashan or whatever its called but they look to be wasting that potential and going full generic anyway which I dont understand. Why Enroth?

I would say earlier HoMM looks more classic than generic mmo with "thousand edges in every place" high fantasy armor and weapons. And some monsters here look straight from world of warcraft. I mean is this troglodyte or a murloc on second screenshot?

I think these new designs also have a problem with readability.
When looking at the battle footage I can't tell what creature is what easily, while the classic designs were immediately recognizable
