Not to mention nobody on 4chan, especially /v/, can form a coherent sentence. Their lingo consists entirely of ready-made catchphrases like "oh no no no no", "now that the dust has settled", "the absolute state of x", and listing off shit with the greentext function. 4chan likes to think it's better than Reddit because you can say "nigger", but they're really both the same hotbed of brain-dead NPCs.

The only people I met who even knew what it was were those who knew someone outside the States, like a Mexican fuckboy or an European relative. If you pay attention to recent TV series, American people never use WhatsApp, while in European ones it's normal to use its interface and standard colors while showing a written conversation.

I don't know, if it's about privacy, it's not like I keep it secret that my mom had laptop problems yesterday or that my high school friends are having another reunion. You're basically forced to give money to any of the big tech if you want to have any semblance of social life anyway. Everyone here use it and it's not like the app is slow or anything. I don't see why anyone would make a big deal of using WhatsApp, making it look like as if I support reddit's banning policy or that I use onlyfans to sell my nudes to thirsty fat landwhales.
