I agree, sex should be reserved for sex havers.
lmao, only an incel writes like thatsex havers.
RPGs should be like a Conan story. You fight monsters, defeat the big bad, steal treasure, and shag beautiful women.
Of course, modern video games need to put in the beautiful women first.
Only an incel deals in absolutesI agree, sex should be reserved for sex havers.
So is shit coming out of an anus. That doesn't mean it should be center stage in an RPG. Although, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to more games having shitting mechanics a la Space Station 13.a penis entering vagina is much more natural than an axe entering skull.
Most people want to escape/evade the friendzone, your suggestion would make it obligatory. To me the main reason to have romance in an RPG is to find out a bit extra about a character you like, once it tips into long-term committed relationship stuff like marriage or children it starts to feel awkward and uncomfortable so I'd rather avoid it.
That said I'd be fine with just cutting romance altogether and having more in depth friendship conversations where you can't be locked out for being the wrong sex/orientation, it's annoying that some RPGs seem to think you'd only want to know more a character if you want to fuck them, you shouldn't have to jerk off your bro to find out his full backstory.
Yeah, this was true up until...maybe as late as 20 years ago. Now? Some states are veering towards authorizing child protective services to abduct your kid if you refuse to expose them to transgender indoctrination. It's not that.Cool down Disco Elysium, this ain't about you.And perhaps violenceless?I just want RPGs to be sexless.
I simply mock Ameritard approach according to which a game can have all the gore in the world and its ok, but a mere suggestion of sex is a big no no.
I think it was GRRM who said that a penis entering vagina is much more natural than an axe entering skull. Hence American priorities in this regard are pretty fucked up.
Alas, what can you expect from a country set up by guys calling themselves 'puritans'.
Here in Europe we've got a much more healthy approach.
Btw, there's plenty of violence in DE. You can even shoot a child, which was unheard of in gaming since the early Fallouts.

Dudes, an AI chatbot has more personality than you two. You even write like you're running of a script.Only an incel deals in absolutesI agree, sex should be reserved for sex havers.

Edit: fucking chicoms splitting the thread.
Sex in video games is portrayed in a silly/pornographic manner because no normal person would play a video game to find fulfilling relationship contentI can't think of a single RPG that depicts sex in a healthy way. It's never about two people in a committed relationship reproducing; it's either done for adolescent giggles or it's pornography for lonely people.
Violence, on the other hand, is usually depicted in a healthy way. It's shown as heroes stepping forth to rid the world of monsters and save the day. If we go with the idea that media influences human behaviour, this is actually behaviour that we want to promote and encourage.
Must feel weird to seethe this hard about a country on the otherside of the planetIt's not that.Cool down Disco Elysium, this ain't about you.And perhaps violenceless?I just want RPGs to be sexless.

Violence kills people. Sex can kill whole societies and cultures. I cite the 20th and 21st centuries as evidence. It's not that.Cool down Disco Elysium, this ain't about you.And perhaps violenceless?I just want RPGs to be sexless.

It's possible to *not* includes sex in video games, which is why I started with that.Sex in video games is portrayed in a silly/pornographic manner because no normal person would play a video game to find fulfilling relationship content
If this is an actual concern for you guys, try spending less time on the computer.
You know, I always found it funny how the supposedly puritanical americans (and not just them) get offended by some broad showing her titties and ass and by the idea of nudity, but are A-Ok with someone getting their fucking skull split wide open and bombs blowing everything to smithereens.Violence, on the other hand, is usually depicted in a healthy way.
