This imagine has made me make a connection/link/line to the recently learned practices of the culture and their influence in video game design factoring spiritual/ghost/demonic perspective.
Meditation as practiced by pagan requires/involves quieting/emptying/pacifying the mind by repetition of mantras/chants and deep breaths, staying static. This is invitation for demonic possession since I assume a quite/empty/pacified mind makes a good host in contrast to a mind that constantly think/active/turmoil.

Meditation=repetition over&over same thing=grind =repetition of battle.
Empty mind=blank, mute JRPG characters=less verity in character?
The idea/intend perhaps is to make us the player, more easily possess/enter/inhibit the one track mind protagonist/main character.

Compare to the Westren "christian"(christ is too a pagan term) based theme and their effect on character & game design.

Side note:
In Neoh there is strong animal-ism theme. All killer characters(generals, shinobi's, player character) are possessed by animal spirit. animal=beast=violent.

Also a more far fetched conclusion, the androgynous design of JRPG main characters(cant recall default character with beard) can be associated with Baphomet which is too Androgynous/hermaphroditic/mixing male and woman. That is all religion/spiritualism/pagan culture steam towards/from "the great work" ideology which is blending good with evil, entropy, chaos. Which also can explain the odd tastes, degeneration, queer characters nad child bodies in JRPGs:

Contrast with western CRPG who's main characters are often more masculine (broad shoulders,v shape torso) a clear separation between man and woman of Yahuah/יהוה/YHWH based decree. The lack of beard in the examples by JarlFrank, is still a concern .

Speaking of possession...

Unreal, while the insults are not warranted, you have written repulsive/vile/disgusting things. Have you considered that perhaps your ill attraction are due demonic possession? That an animal spirit has taken hold of you and leading you astray from what you were designed to be attracted to. I have read If you have an aversion to reading the bible, being around Christians and church's and by logic so to exorcist you may be possessed. Please consider having a check by an exorcist, videos i watched showed it could be done via the internet with webcam.

I have an aversion to reading books, not the Bible. And I have an aversion to certain personalities. For example, I don't like people who post fake esoterism. Ahahah. You know, if meditation results in possession, that person is obviously just doing it wrong.

I also don't believe everything strange about a person has to do with possession. That doesn't even make sense. Humans are more than capable of being weird on their own. Yeah bro, exorcise me and I'm just going to become a totally normal heterosexual human-lover. If only it were that easy.

Are you serious?

I played Fallout. I guess it was good. I don't really care for it aside from that, though. Yeah, nice setting, whatever. Meh.

I played Torment. It was very good... as an adventure game.

Looks like there's hope for you.
You should try Dark Sun, Colony Ship, Wizardry 8, maybe AoD if you can endure a single character game.
I will probably play Wizardry 8 eventually. The others look completely uninteresting, though.

They all look like boring generic fantasy/sci-fi/whatever shit to me. Only JRPGs look interesting but the gameplay sucks. Action RPGs are less disagreeable but that's because they aren't RPGs. Also they suck too.

Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, they're all right for what they are. BG2 is trash.

I played some other Bioware games, but everyone knows they're stupid so who cares.

Daggerfall is terrible. Why do people even like that game? Even Arena was better.

Deus Ex, Bloodlines, Gothic... oh wait, those are Action RPGs. Nevermind. I did like them, though.

I can't remember anything else.

U sound like a faggot

I'd totally play a fantasy fallout (if there is one).

Wizardry and m&m are pretty fun to

Baldur's Gate is fun for a little but it depends how much I'm willing to tolerate rtwp

I think some people might be better off playing more focused games like strategy and tactics games, as rpgs at least how they're defined here because they have a niche appeal (roguelikes to)

There is a fantasy Fallout, it's called Arcanum.

In Hinduism and Buddhism a mind in turmoil is one that is susceptible to demonic possession, or alternatively has already succumbed to possession. The mantras exist so that the practitioner can free himself from possession by emptying his mind of desires, hatred, et cetera. That's also how you see it portrayed in all those Chinese cultivation novels and JRPGs/anime.
