An iron rock in the river of blood and evil
Oh yeah, I forgot about that whole cancellation thing. 4 years is a long time I guess. What a mess.

preemptive Starfield killer.Chad and Jason's AAA RPG seems like a FPS-RPG. Supposed to be a Bethesda Fallout killer like Avowed was to Elder Scrolls, maybe. But seriously, unless the previous concept art is nothing I'd guess it's sci-fi or space fantasy-ish thing than post-apoc.

What previous concept art?
First-person Arcanum.
Arcanum - a Trip to the MoonJourney through the Skies of Arcanum.
Yeah but Obsdian and InXile had no clue MS was in talks to buy Bethesda. It does beg the question of what they’re planning to do in the future though. If they might try other stuff beyond simply playing catch up with Bethesda.Making Fallout and Skyrim killers seems counterproductive now that Microsoft owns all that shit.

Maybe it's something like a reverse to Journey to the Centre of Arcanum, exploring outer space instead of subterranean worlds, Journey through the Skies of Arcanum.
(Btw probably not Arcanum itself, since they said this is a "brand new universe".)

You mean Sunless Skies?
By the way, who has the rights to Arcanum?

Arcanum is published by Sierra Entertainment, that company is eventually purchased by Activision.
So yeah, those guy i think owned that IP right now.
How receptive are they to selling licenses, like EA did with Wasteland?
Tides of Numenera was 8.5 million https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/inxile-general-discussion-thread.99490/page-26#post-5337498Does anyone remember what inXile spent on TTON and BT4? I think they spent like 4 to 8 mill out of their own pocket on TTON, and maybe on BT4 too? I can't find that info anymore.
Also, anyone got info on TTON and BT4 sales?
