24 hours in - I have encountered minor bugs, but nothing game breaking.

- Went to lockpick and the yellow dot was gone entirely - had to restart the game
- While escaping the bandit camp after scouting for Radzig, the "combat" music wouldn't end and I could therefore not speak to anyone - had to reload and lost maybe 10 minutes of play
- Fell through the map a couple times, but funny enough...just looking up and pressing "jump" put me back on solid ground -lol

No crashes to the desktop yet -

The game could surely have used another couple months of polish, but honestly I'm enjoying myself so much that I'm taking it in stride.

Standin' pretty. In this dust that was a city.

I'm just waiting for this fool to start spamming bug compilations like all the other dragonlol alts do.

I won't. I'm just genuinely amused to what lengths fanboyism makes people go, because this is some straight Kubler-Ross grade denial. The game is good, not fucking flawless. On a side note, if you want to call other people fools, start with yourself.
No one is saying it's flawless. Shove that straw up yours.

Hardly a strawman when shitload of people here treat that game like it's a cure for cancer and Vavra like a Jordan Peterson of video gaming...

Then reply to those people instead of talking generally. On a sidenote, most of the people praising Jordan Peterson haven't read any of his books :negative:

While you treat it like it's actual cancer and Vavra is literally Hitler - since the moment you materialized ITT - and then you're butthurt nobody's taking you seriously.

For people with anything else than a 1070/Vega56: Lock the game to 30fps, and play it on High/Very High. Anything else will fluctuate too much. The motion blur implementation and its whole pacing is such that it won't bother much.

Add "+exec user" to the game's shortcut, create a user.cfg file with this content:
Code:
r_vsync = 0
sys_MaxFPS = 30

and store it in the game's root folder. This will disable the in-game shitty Vsync, and limit the framerate to whatever you want (this example is 30fps).

Just FYI - fast travel speed seems to be tied to FPS, so anyone limiting his FPS via sys_MaxFPS will experience longer travelling times.

I mean the two half naked peasant robbers that are on the road to skalitz. Not the assholes on the watermill.
Some random encounter happened to you which didn't happen to me. I ran straight to Talmberg and didn't meet any bandits.

Edit: there was a corpse robber on my return to Skalitz, but it was just one, and I chased him away.
Yeah, the corpse robbers, there were two different, must have taken the other path at the fork. I did enjoyed hunting them down and killing them, only i get to loot the bodies!!!

Given what a circlejerk the game has become ITT, it's no wonder you're in constant denial to it's obvious flaws.

Sorry, who is doing the circle-jerking and treating the game like a cure for cancer? What I'm seeing are 3 camps of people:
  1. people who are playing it, like it, and acknowledge it has some bugs
  2. people who are playing it, don't like it, and complain about the bugs
  3. people who aren't playing it, don't like it, and want to tell everyone that they shouldn't like it either
Feel free to link/quote the white-knighting that you're complaining about, I just haven't seen it in this thread.

KCD is only a mediocre game that deserves criticism. The best reason to buy it is to piss off the SJWs, libtards and racist leftists that want to rewrite history. I got my money's worth for that reason alone.

And 4. People who already played it, didn't like it and now are complaining about the atrocious AI, the ridiculous amount of cutscenes that ruin the momentum, tedious fetch quests masquarded as being ''complex'' and of course the abundance of bugs.

The game will be forgotten by the next month, it brings nothing new to table beside tedium and bad programming.

I'm pretty sure that's covered by the "don't like it" part in #2.

Aren't you going to upload another of your videos? Like killing someone with a parry or just pushing against them with the boar perk. You look more like #3.

You said people are complaining about bugs, you should see their forums how many casual are complaining about Henry becoming Dovakin Junior in about 10 hours, you people don't seem to understand what a mess this game is when it comes to AI and balance in general:lol:

I haven't played the game because of rampant poverty, but I just wanted to stop by and say that balancing is for fags anyway.

And then you end up with something like this

Why should we test weapons and balance them when you can just go with the flow:lol:

Truth be told, even people that like the game admit that if you spend 'too much' (as in - above necessary to learn the moves) time training your skills at the fencing trainer, any semblance of balance or realism is out of the window and the game becomes Oblivion-level popamole with you one-shotting most enemies except for fully armored knights, and you don't even need to exploit AI for that.
Well, that is easily fixed by a couple of mods if true at all, but 'balancing is for fags' is a bit of an overstatement.

lmao I killed everyone in that camp (Pribyslavitz) too just for shits and giggles. It was a piece of cake because the AI is so rudimentary and breaks very easily.

BTW, the game does not acknowledge if you clear out the camp by yourself. All of the NPCs respawn when it is raided in the main questline.
