Wait, it's random?
Loot from world map encounters yes, all of that is just meant for selling. I don't recall if the most dangerous ones even go up to corpryst. The actual locations are all hand placed.

Echo cast doesn't seem to work on projection, even though it isn't a delayed spell.

Is this game good? If it is and I can't find a torrent, then I might have to get some Rubles. It's a shame that Argentina's economy was dollarized. I was enjoying using their pesos to get discounts. Looks like it's good old rubles for now.

So I solved the Crossbow/Bow puzzle.

Just have the Bandolier equipped, and have both the Bow and the Xbow available in your slots. Swap the Xbow in when you haven't moved last turn and there's a juicy shot available on a high value target. Easy.

Just found some Volskarn.. whats the best use for it?
So far I’ve just been putting it in as armor augments to get +2MP.

The benefit of Volskarn equipment is that you can add 3 augments instead of 2, so you could use it to put 3 triggers into a weapon, for example. edit- as Grampy_Bone said it’s 2 instead of 1 for weapons, not 3 instead of 2–I was thinking of another special weapon.

Build spoiler:
There is a passive ability that makes triggers scale with magic power and (I think) fire/lightning mastery, so a certain build can make weapon triggers do loads of damage.

One of my mages is the hardest hitter in my party, doing 8+8+8+8 damage a swing, and I haven’t even optimized them for max magic power.

The only one who can do more damage at the moment is my titan with minmaxed strength using suplex, but this depends on the enemy not having high strength themselves.

Stone Savant + Trigger Staff?

My Ashen is already wielding a Lantern, and my frost dude has Ruin Adept not Blaze Adept.

I haven't found any ruin/ice trigger stones though.
There are a handful of them over the course of the game but you can always buy them from a merchant in whatever that vale is called on the western most region of kingsvein.

Wandering the world randomly in search of maps
I tried it and im not sure if it works as expected, the damage did not seem to be that high.

Most times i used soilshift to just push enemies off ledges for instakills or to shove my melee guys into close range. Also note you can use it to deliver a Fanger bomb for more hilarity.

Oh well. Yeah Soilshift is just insanely good anyway. Also, Quake is actually surprisingly good. Once you upgrade it, enemies just will not move into its damage area. So you can keep entire groups at bay while you deal with enemies on the other side of you. It's so awesome for situations where you get pincered.

Also, it really is crazy how easily you can farm xp once you're powerful enough to take out 3 or more of the map camps. You can pretty much just permanently farm the map.

Yeah so this plan didn't work at all. Turns out that the Crossbow Scope only activates on the turn you didn't move, if it's equipped, and at the end of the turn, and you can't switch after firing your weapon. So it's useless.

I just gave up and went with the bow.

Oh yeah, where the hell is the emblem in the mines? I'm bad at this, found some secret areas but couldn't find it.
