Stay far away from chaos. We are too tainted already :(

Whenever I read Bigus I think Dickus so no for him. Can't concentrate with that dude in the room.

I think that Goreman will be sensible enough to burn the heretic (that is Marius), kill the mutant (once again Hax) and purge the unclean (surprise, once again our favorite sector lord). So no on him.

That leaves Ciaphas. Not the perfect choice but hopefully better than the others.

Also, feed, but don't try to represent yourself even if you become the smartest dude in whole sector once the necrotyr get into your brain. Do discuss their advice with hero of the imperium though.

in short Ciaphas + Feed

Pretty much the way I feel about it as well, and we have some cards up our sleeve like the heretics within the Inq we should disclose as much as we can to Ciaphas, but not implicate ourselves because all that lawyer-client-privilege does not really apply if our representation is too lawful.

Ciaphas + Feed

It seems this Silas fellow has transcended his death. Most disconcerting.

Hope you're happy with your reckless feeding, faggots.

Offence is the best defence, B!!!11111

This is most likely a Biowarian choice and we're fucked no matter what happens anyway, but whatev.

Option A is just asking to open up a can of worms regarding our behavior, Option C is pointless. Since when do the Inquisition bother with worldly matters like facts and the truth?

Flipflopping our way to doom. :M

What have you done? The other voices will consume you now, will consume me! You'll become a mindless abomination, bent only on satiating your hunger! You have doomed us all!

You speak of "them" and "I". What is the difference, Necrontyr?

Many of the souls within the device have grown insane, they have no identity, they have only hunger. And you have fed too much, too massively...They'll overwhelm you and I soon. I am the one who was able to retain his sanity. But now...
THIS IS WHY WE SHOULDN'T FEED SO RECKLESSLY

although, according to the lore that root posted initially, the full transformation should take something like a decade...

As for the alternatives, I don't think A will be very effective; after all, we stand accused for some not-quite-impeccable decisions, I think the accusers will have an easy time dismissing that defense. As for C, I don't think that is effective either. So I guess it's
B by the elimination method.

Even though my vote will be for naught and you will doom us all...

C!

Thanks guys for turning us into a bloodthirsty, nearly-mindless aberration!

Well, we dun goofed.
You know something is horribly wrong when the mindless alien device hungry for the souls of the living is calling US out on over-indulging.
Not only that, but it looks like we died for absolutely nothing in act 1 AND we've lost our humanity in this act as well.
Gonna have go with B

Long-time listener, first time caller.

B seems like the strongest option, given that the cabal's moral authority isn't exactly ironclad here. (Conspiring with Tzeentch, apparently ignoring our warnings of an incoming Hive Fleet / genestealer cult, making Vail a daemonhost, enlisting a lawyer who's technically been dead since Chapter 1, etc.)

Also, re: soul-selling, can we summon the Deceiver before the trial and try to drive a bargain? The Deceiver mentioned a long time ago that he could slow or halt our degeneration from the device, and it seems like that would be really helpful right now. Granted, we haven't been the best ally to him, but he doesn't seem like he's in a position to be choosy at the moment. The Nightbringer's on his way to kill him, and Eliphas is running around the sector unchecked; the Deceiver's got problems. As a budding demigod/cosmic horror, our usefulness might be such that he'd be willing to forgive our past waywardness in order to preserve us as a (sane, useful) ally.

Or else he might just kill us. But that seems shortsighted.

I suspect 'no turning back' means 'no turning back' :M

Also, another thing I suspect is that Silas = Deceiver.

That would explain the whole 'coming back from the dead thing'. Further, Ezekiel was supposed to be his right-hand man, right? And who was Ezekiel? A blank. D hates the warp, so it seems logical he would grow so fond of a pariah. Not to mention the fact that Ezekiel also had necron weaponry...

Let's do whatever we can and pay whatever price required to keep mankind safe(ish). Extinction is not an option.

:salute: to Hax for knowing what he is and willing to get the world rid of himself. I hope that he will be strong enough to let himself get killed when time comes.

@Darth Roxxor: Could be. However, didn't Silas had some daemons on his ship in the first chapter? Don't remember well enough...

I certainly remember root mentioning that if we did decide to go with Silas that it would've been revealed that he was either using a daemon artifact or a daemon host to achieve FTL travel.
But I don't know whether or not that's canon within the LP, since technically we never actually found out in-story.

Ok, it's rather hard decision you are forcing us to make root. There's very little we can infere the right course of action from. It really depends how you will play it all out in next episode.

Normally, I would go out with C but it just strikes me that facing Deceiver head on would be suicidal.

So I will go with pussy prudent option A!
