What an awesome ending to an awesome chapter! The Hax/Deceiver relationship is very well written, can't wait for more.

:salute: To all codexers who quelled the voices in their head and didn't flip-flop to chaos.

Your humble servant *bow*

Not quite done yet, but I hope this still pleases thy soulless shell...

Not enough bloom. Besides, it doesn't seem emotionally challenging, darkier or EXTREME enough :decline:

Put Blood and Thunder (For lots of good Orkyness) on there if you like comics as well

Thanks for the tip! It was a nice read. Hope Gorgutz isn't really dead though...

A
After all is said and done, the Deceiver has basically had our back since the first update. Sure he damned us with the Halo Device, but it was a necessary evil that we had to endure in order to stop the Void Dragon.
It's about fucking time we stopped stabbing everyone in the back and actually stay loyal to the guy who's been our one true ally who also isn't dead yet.
Also...goodbye Ciaphas Cain
HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!
Thank god he never found out what we did to his gal pal.

Votan A, can be convinced to vote C.

I know some will be tempted to vote B, but remember that the necrontyr are every bit as big assholes as the rest.

C doesn't sound like a very good idea. All it'd do is leave us without someone who has the power to oppose the void dragon.
A temporary moral victory, sure, but in the long run it would leave us at a severe disadvantage.

The Necrontyr are mostly insane anyway, and a previous update indicated that the crazy ones were on the verge of taking over. How much more so if we devour a GOD?

C is tempting, but wasn't the point of all this to somehow gain help against the Void Dragon?

I'm not saying we should trust the Deceiver, but it appears to beat the alternatives. And he's such a jolly fellow! I can think of worse people to rule the universe. At least life will be interesting, if short for the occasional handful of devoured souls.

In short:

A!!

Guys, what makes you trust the Deceiver at all? Of course he's asking you to trust him - right now, he desperately needs you. After all, this is the being that completely fucked over the Necrontyr - who's to say he won't do something similar to Man? What makes you think that helping him here will be worth it?

He's definitely better than Tzeentch, though.

For now, I am picking C, although I can be convinced to change my vote to A.

Just to make things clear, in option A we allow the Deceiver to activate the machine, while in option B we do it ourselves?
