Singing voice sounds like an avatar of the outsider and considering all our dudes are blind, brohriman cannot use his main weapon and the bromarine is choking on blood there is only one sensible option.

If we leggit, we can live to fight again anudda day!

Run away in which direction? We can't see anything, and root stated quite clearly that we're disoriented.

Why do you assume running will take us away from what you propose we flee from? :retarded:

Nope. I say we stay. Running in a lightless room where you don't even know which direction is to or from isn't really sensible. Stay, try to focus and fight the disorientation so we can try and make heads and tails of this.

no you're not.

although it's kind of amusing that people assume that not running away = fighting something.

Well, I didn't really mean stand and fight in the literal sense, just that running away when you're disoriented and lost is not really a good idea. Who's to say that we don't run into the very thing we are trying to escape or something even worse? It's better to stand our ground and try to collect our wits, if possible, and then proceed. Maybe a tactical retreat is called for, but running away in disorganized panic sounds like a sure way to get killed.

I feel the Warp overtaking us, better is to take our own life and die for the Emperor.

Let the professionals handle it.

(I assume the option we are given is solely for the Space Marine)

You guys voted to go RIGHT, so make your bed in it and vote to FIGHT.

Amen to that. We need to stand our ground and persevere onward. Where would we run to?

However, the situation does look pretty bad. We can't see anything and Ahriman using his sorcery already caused an explosion that could have taken us out. Also, the Lorekeeper's behaviour is beginning to worry me. Fuck it, we have to continue onwards. We need to stay calm and get our wits about us.

We stay and fight: we face it, whatever it is. We run away: we might face it, we might not. The latter sounds like better odds to me. And considering we should be running away from the singing, we might have some direction.

So did I, but it's a valid question: root, are we deciding on behalf of the Cryptically-Identified Space Marine, or the party as a whole? If the latter, I vote that our stalwart band run from the denizens of this mystic place.

Space Marines DO NOT RUN.

And anyone care to clue me in on who it is? Failed my WH40k lore roll.

Read the dark angels article on lexicanum. One of the people listed in notable persons is likely to match a guy with 2 pistols and a mysterious sword.

Just finished blood meridian and now I'm pissed that the Outsider won't appear anymore in this LP.

That guy, whose name we shan't spoil, sounds like a real mysterious fellow.

Love the lore, and quite a pickle you put poor Cypher in..

Does he give up on his quest, or will he repeat his actions from 12 milennia ago?

This being no ordinary space marine, I believe it would be out of character for him to repent and let himself be slain by Lion El'Jonson, or whatever the creature before him is.

So I vote he should stand by what he believes :salute:

That and there's a good chance this is all some out-of-body experience while a Lictor is sucking the brains out of the back of Cypher's skull, so we might as well stall it for The Lorekeeper or something to save us.

First,

Canonically, the Emperor didn't want to be worshiped as a god. This update shows it to be very, very true. So I vote B!!!! Let's stay in what we believe in and do what we think is best. The Emperor smiled once at us when we were younger and I'm sure he would smile on us again now, if he only could.

Cypher is a man who gets things done in order to save the Imperium of Man, not to glorify the emperor.

Would not make much sense, personality wise, to bow down now. Of course, one could argue that he was wearied and longed for rest, and because of that would welcome oblivion, but what has kept him going the last 12.000 years then? Duracell?

Just doesn't make sense to yield now is all I'm saying. :M
