So who is the mysterious figure exactly? Will we get some fluff on him? Or do you want to piss of many a fanboy and make it a female? :smug: (though you did wrote they are all sons there...)

That would be Corax, I should think. Root said that we'll have the Raven Guard in the Resistance.

Crimson King - besides being a nice reference is this a new name for the Reclusiah? And is there any significance in the reference?

I guess that's another name for Magnus the Red...

Ehm... I'm interested in him too. Though if we take that The Warden is the Primarch of the Adeptus Custodes then it is possible that the other one is the Primarch of the Grey Knights. I'm basing this on the uncertainty of GK geneseed origin in the current lore. Some sources indicate that they come from a mix of the geneseeds of many primarchs, but having one of the unknowns be their "root" is more interesting. That guy must also be a strong psyker to make Magnus black out. And all GK are strong psykers.

I got the impression that he's the exact opposite of a strong psyker...

I'd say the Grey Knights are more likely to have come from the favored son, seeing how there are some similarities in equipment between Custodians and Grey Knights.

Corax isn't an unknown Primarch though, is he? I thought these two were supposed to be the two who weren't mentioned in lore?

Mhm, you're right. Comprehension fail on my part.

leman russ, vulkan and the two unknown primarchs will return for the end times

About the primarch I do not agree. The II and XI primarch are unknowns and Corax is not one of them. I guess the number II is The Warden then XI could be The Exile. Also, I don't think that The Exile is a big psychic blank, as it could prevent the Emprah to be in the chamber.

Anyway, it's interesting to speculate :)

Come to think of it, the chaos is also a potential ally against the Imperium, which we may alienate by doing this.

Oh well. I stand by my choice.

Still, remember that these are Primarchs who can remember a time when the Emperor was around. What was the Emperor's stance on the Eldar?

Xenos scum not to be trusted, or possible allies should they be able to stay their alien backstabbing ways?

It's a valid question. My impression was that humanity during the Great Crusade was a lot less fanatical and a lot more pragmatic than the Imperium later became. There was no Imperial Creed or Imperial Cult back then. As far as I know, the Emperor never really paid much attention to the Eldar. So there's not an obvious in-character position here.

Bear in mind that the Resistance's biggest source of manpower right now is the former slaves of a former daemon prince, who incidentally is one of their leadership, so they're kind of already in murky territory with their alliances. Beyond wanting what's best for humanity, I don't think the primarchs have an overriding stance on Eldar. I think it's mostly a question of whether we want to risk men to gain an alliance. The Eldar hate our enemies much more than they do us, so I'm inclined to think they won't backstab us just to be dicks.

:x :x :rage: Elethiomel has to be a recicled Dark Eldar, it must be. I suppose that replies my question: The loldar are more butthurt and devious than ever. Screw these space elves. Oh, and I vote for Chaos.

and meta-game them into the eldar instead of the Resistance, this is some treachery right here. Elethiomel dosnt even sound like he cares much for his race.
Kinda wondering about 'nids though, they havnt even been mentioned yet.

C. I find it difficult to believe that Jeremiah and the same old collection of rusty heretic marines (this time sans psykers) will single-handedly be able to defeat the New Imperium. Though by C I hope you mean attack the Imperium later, not attack the rebels later.

Ah I was under the impression from an earlier update with the primarchs and the fact the warpseers aren't as reliable anymore that psychic powers were weakening.

Do You prepare to launch the Fourteenth Black Crusade and destroy the Imperium? The time has come to purge the unbelievers. When the truth of their heresy dawns on them, it will dawn with fire.
