Let's talk about Lacrymas' homebrew fantasy setting where paladins are eunuchs

You should really figure out the real in-universe name for so-called "barbarians" and begin using it immediately. "The Rageswinger class is mechanically identical to the D&D Barbarian, but with very different lore and mental perspective. Rageswingers channel angry thoughts into bonus damage, blah blah blah"

They are the Warrior-Acolytes of the Sisterhood. Either Warrior-Acolytes or Warrior-Adherents. Barbarian is a slang term used for them in-setting.

Just fucking call them amazons. You already have real barbarians in your setting - ork tribes you fight for land.

But why? They literally have nothing in common. Just fucking call them amazons. You already have real barbarians in your setting - ork tribes you fight for land.
Rethink this; it's confusing and dumb, and undercuts your setting. Adherents is a million times better.
It's a slang word because they fight with savagery and recklessness. There is also the meta aspect of it getting nerds' panties in a twist that only women can be barbarians, I love it. The orcs aren't uncivilized, they are just warmongering and perhaps a bit rape-y at times (no half-orcs, though), their culture revolves around the exploitation of necromancy. I might make it so that human women can birth orcs (not half-orcs), that would be fun.

And so he finally admits that his entire setting is one big troll by an asshole cunt of a DM.

Just as we all suspected.

That is not the meaning of the word "barbarian". But I guess "people in your setting decided it is", right?

Now that is interesting. I am assuming clerical necromancy, as per your usual approach, but provide details anyway. Communing with ancestral ghosts, or something more physical?

I've never claimed I couldn't indulge in a little pettiness. I knew the reaction my setting would cause from the get-go and while it isn't the main reason I do it, far from it, it's a fun and harmless bonus ;d

It's actually druidic in nature. They bring the tissue back to some kind of imitation of life, but they can't regenerate the tissues with magic after it's dead, so yeah some of them are pretty decomposed. However, in order to control them they introduce spores of plants within the bodies. I'm still wondering whether the subject's mind should also be brought back, I don't want it to be like a resurrection. If I do that, it should be in some way terrifying/painful/tormenting for the subject in question, so it's in no way a true resurrection like nothing has happened. There is no incorporeal undead.

Well, you have a long history of never ever ever listening to other people's good ideas, so good luck with all that.
I'm not going to listen to people who say "make it more like traditional fantasy" if that's what you mean by other people's good ideas. This setting is specifically a reaction against traditional fantasy.

I think you should consider adding a new faction to your setting. I picture it like a group of fanatics who viscerally hate the world they live in and would do anything to overthrow the current ruling class and create a new society from scratch.

You could call this faction "The Codex" or something like that.

Not what I am talking about at all. You're really bad at accepting any kind of criticism.

The word barbarian in the context of RPGs refers mainly to the warriors who use Rage-based abilities and techniques. Since we are all nerds, I expect that people who will encounter this setting would know this and infer the meaning due to our shared interest. This is normal in the arts and language in general. Outside of that, I can easily handwave the issue by stating their techniques are closely related to those of the orcs, who are considered barbaric by this civilization.

This is such an absurd reduction of the concept of the barbarian that you might as well call a wizard a fighter who uses spell based abilities and techniques.
