The SimCity DLC known as the Attractions Set unlocks five new buildings for your SimCity building pleasure. Each one does two things: they improve the happiness of poorer citizens of your city and bring tourists rich and poor from other cities in the region. The five buildings are the Giant Garden Gnome, Dolly the Dinosaur, Llary the Llama [sic], MaxisMan, and the World's Largest Ball of Twine. Truly great sideshows for your burgeoning metropolis.

What EA is doing to it's customers is more along the lines of Anal-B, actually.

Plus redeem cool content for SimCity PC or The Sims Social, and get discounts off EA games.

Today we are informing players of the difficult decision to retire some of our Facebook games: The Sims Social, SimCity Social and Pet Society.

DLCs already. Can the game be played yet? Did they fix the mechanics? I would guess not, but just get DLCs, they need your money to fix the game. :troll:

The black box to the right of his monitor is probably the "cloud server" hosting SimCity. ;)

In the first place, who wants giant fucking statues of Gnomes, Dinosaurs or Llama's in their neighborhood? That should actually drive happiness down.

Oh, and for anyone who doesn't know, if someone abandons a city you cannot move into it unless you owned all the DLC he did. That means if someone in your region buys toothpaste and gets this shit, and you don't, if he abandons his plot you've got an unusable empty plot.

EA's perception of inhabitants' reactions to Commercial abominations littering the neighbourhood:

That EA DLC is an abomination.

In other news, Mass Effect 2 made it into an indie bundle:

The Indie Gala - Mass Effect

Comes with an extra portion of Origin :D. After THQ, also Bioware now qualifies as "indie".
