Red can't make enchantments go away. Why doesn't it get a pass on those?
Green can't deal direct damage, why doesn't it get a pass on that?

I don't agree with either of you about ''passes''.

Are multicolored decks forbidden all of a sudden?
As you say, use one color to cover the shortcomings of another. A feature that was in the game since day 1.
No need to give passes that way.

Don't focus on the details, look at the big picture.

As I said, a deck needs resources, threats, answers and ways to deal with variance. If in a format red has the best threats, black the best answers and blue the best filtering then you can't act surprised when the dominant deck is fucking Grixis.

All this circlejerking about counterspells makes me feel like I'm hallucinating in seeing the things I see

I've been working on a 5 color deck, it's a work in progress, but it's fun trying to get it to work.

Here's one of the card's I've been enjoying lately.

You made 10 zombies in 1 turn? Looks pretty badass. Looks like that evil little scute bastard but with 2/2s instead of 1/1s.

MTGA just announced they will be limiting the number of creature tokens on the board to prevent abuse of scute swarm spam.

The creature token limit is now set at 250 creature tokens.

That Scute Swarm beats me almost every time, it is so relentless and fast. Although in one glorious game I nuked his first scute and then exiled them all with Necromentia. :shredder:

I have quite a few board wipes in my deck, but I've been trying out some unconventional cards also.

Lately I've been testing this one, but I probably won't keep it in my deck.

I used to always have an Ethereal Absolution

in my sidedeck and it was so fun to see it completely ruin a RDW's whole game. It screwed white weenies and all of greens little mana pumpers and stuff too. :smug:

Yeah Kaervek can't really compete. Cool card though, I would like to make a deck with that.

They should have just banned Scute Swarm instead.

I'm very into cock and ball torture
I feel like I had this discussion before, but how do people lose to scute swarm? It's a tier 5 deck or so. Anything that gets you above gold should stomp those bugs into oblivion. A single instant speed skillspell on turn 3 usually chokes the deck out.

Anyway I have seen this tomorrow, looks fairly accurate. Healthy meta after the trainwreck we had before, even wh*te has a deck in Esper Doom.
However almost all decks are pretty much exclusively Eldraine cards as powerhouses. The hell was wrong with that expansion.
