So, is this any good?
Everything is shit.

So, someone needs to make a list of all henchmen, and explain their roles. Because i have no idea what they do. The manual acknowledges their existence, and says that they serve multiple roles... Ugh.

I asked them on reddit about the game manual:
  • [–]MightandMagic[S] 3 puntos 2 horas atrás

    (S) No plans for an updated manual right now. But what we will release is a big package of game design documents, balancing data sheets, monster values, skill/spell descriptions and effects and so on. Basically we will make all the production documentation our game designers used for balancing and designing the game available over the MMX blog. We hope fans will find these docs useful :)

 You know a game is low budget when they'd rather release all of their design docs than a manual.

Yes Zed, that's the "Uplay-unlocked dungeon" people have been talking about. And companion, and relic set. I got the companion with the 20 complimentary points I got for joining Uplay. Will unlock the dungeon after finishing three chapters I guess.
what does she do?

Ok guys, need help at a certain point:

Just beat Mamushi, the slimy fucker. The Darth Maul of Yuan Tii's  Anyhow, ho wdo I activate the telporter? I have spent 20 minutes jumping from tile to tile pressing the slabes but nothing. The riddle doesn't help either :x
You have to step on tiles in the correct order. Pay attention to statues, the light will either shine from them or just blink, if it blinks then the order was incorrect.

or you can just count the bars on the sword hilts and not run wildly around guessing...

speaking of which, anybody know how to solve the crumbling pillars in the crypt near the harbor district? i'm down to two permanent columns and the one in the middle but have no idea how i got there or what to do.

Mmmh, looking at streams a bit and they seem to be drowing in loot.

OTOH, in my own game... well, i did Luke and went up to the third level of lighthouse (getting ganked there), and i only had 2unenditified drops so far (both rings), and my characters are still wearing their starter weapons (except for my mage... who got a white staff).

Am i unlucky, or are the streamers crazy lucky?

I just did that one.

I had no fucking idea what I did. Just ran around. I thought the logic would be something like "whichever pillar intercepts the pressure-plates will be lowered" but that's bullshit.

If you're talking about beacon...

Start with the statue next to the sign, then one left from it, then one immediately below the first, then the final one[/quote]

I see that some of you are new to uplay and was forced to get into it because of your desire to play this game. Here's a tip: Uplay has the worst autopatch system ever.

If a game has five different patches, you have to run the game executable five different times in order for the game to be fully patched. Basically you have to run the game, let it autopatch, quit game, run it again and let it autopatch, quit game, run it again and let it autopatch etc. until all the patches are installed. Just a heads up to those of you new to the wonderful world of uplay. :troll:

Does anyone have a save or know how to unlock the bonus Uplay shit without taking part in Uplay? There must be a way but I can't figure it out. All the stuff is in the game files already so it's not like it's a DLC.

^Anyone else remember when Angry Joe first came to the codex to promote himself and people were giving him shit? How come he's now respected as a valid game "journalist" ? Pretty incredible how that turnaround happened.

Good thing that getting the game on Steam means all the patching is done Steam-side.

Gah! I really want to find the Grand Master trainer for fire and magic foci.
And Mace. And Sword. And Dual Wield.
I do think I've run across a couple of them tho, I just don't remember where!

By the way, are there any Relic items that level up for more than 4 levels? It seems all my Relics have capped at 4.

Hm, so there isn't a log book like in VI that reminds you where the masters and stuff are after you've met them? Am I remembering that right?

That was in VII, and it only updated when an npc told you were to find them, not when you found them yourself, IIRC :P

That started in 7 I think, 6th only got minor notes, like fauntain or liquid effects. But yeah, at least it says which map they live in.
