You mean the cloud rendering tech that Crysis had in 2007?

Is this honestly what people were so excited about? Creatures that make absolutely no sense whatsoever, instead just 'lol funy'.

I genuinely thought the creatures would at least be somewhat realistic. Remind me again why this procedural algorithm of theirs is so widely celebrated?

Wait until the weekend when he realizes that he has built his hopes for the past 2 years on a soap bubble.

In ancient Rome Makabb would then be entombed in a cell with everything (food, electricity) provided for free, a computer and with nothing else to do for the rest of his life but play the game of his dreams, No Man's Sky.
The folks would look though a hatch and watch how he goes insane, and they would throw rubber animals from the NMS universe at him and try to hit him with them.

So far all the aliens are more basic in their behavior than Minecraft creatures and villagers, but they look like a collection of randomized Spore creations, so it's innovative and amazing or something.

because press has been paid to say so and the retards are too retarded to have their own opinion, settling in adopting press' one.

Reddit is full of people bitching about the game. If that circle jerk club is upset it doesn't bode well.

Take it from someone who is waiting 3 years on this and has a post on every page of this thread.

This is not a 3d starbound.

What do you even do in this game? Literally all the footage I've seen have just been aiming lasers at rocks and plants to extract resources. There better be more to the game than just grinding out resources to upgrade your ship. Everything in the game so far just looks like a single-player MMO.
