Well, number 4 is a very mystical number. It should't indicate a se2quel or a countdown necessarily.
Actually, my first idea when I read "What do the words mean?" and then seeing that "<!--. X . X X . X X -->" thing was it's a code of some sort, and 4 is part of the key.

So far I got only this:

12341234123412341234
tenDernEss FellowshIp

12341234123412341234
fellowship vigilANCE

As to say, nothing much...

Still, as I said in http://rpgcodex.net/forums/index.ph...-obsidians-new-game.75947/page-6#post-2261018, I'm going with Defiance for this one...

Why? It's not like Obsidian produced anything of lasting value in a couple of years...
1. Arguably.
2. You'd be hard pressed to find a functioning developer with better CRPG history.

Anyway, I agree there is no real merit for the excitement. At least for now. Still can't help it, though.

1. Name the titles.
2. Well it's a moot point since it's the only functioning developer...
1. I liked both New Vegas and Alpha Protocol. Never played Dungeon Siege, because, seriously, fuck it.
2. :2/5:

1. I liked them = product of lasting value? So people will talk about AP after twelve years like they have talked about PST?
2. Who else does CRPG's except indie?

It's a dragon, it is in a ball, seems pretty clear to me that a Dragonball RPG is on its way. Case closed.
Can't you see that it's Gyarados? It's a new Pokemon game damn it!

:cautiously fapping:
You've been doing that a lot in these past days Jaesun.
Some day you're going to break it

Fuck Bethesda. Fuck FO4. Give me some sweet isometric TB storyfag party based game. KS their own new IP.
However the 4 does point to it... unless they be fooling around.

What do the words mean?
Nothing. The Dirge of Eír Glanfath is sound without form, a lone voice crying out in mourning because it must.

The English word dirge is derived from the Latin Dirige, Domine, Deus meus, in conspectu tuo viam meam ("Direct my way in your sight, O Lord my God"), the first words of the first antiphon in the Matins of the Office for the Dead.

<!--. X . X X . X X -->
<!-- To tenderness, fellowship. To fellowship, vigilance. So bring we all to the Night Market. I am the Spindle of Esenath. Know me by my light and stand with me in darkness. -->

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morse_code

. X => A
. X X . => P
X X => M

Alpha Protocol Medieval :troll:

1. None of these games are as good as Torment but I believe both will be discussed years from now. They might even get 'rediscovered' in the future. Of course, I may be wrong.
Oh, and: I like them =/= product of lasting value, but also: You dislike them =/= not of value, so yeah.
2. Actually, the only non-indie developer still making PC RPGs in the Codex sense (one RPG to be specific) is Larian with their Original Sin. (I'm not counting Kickstarted projects.) Obsidian does not qualify, their games are multiplatform.

On the spot. That seems the only rational reason for which people seem to forget every little Obsidian blunder in favour of the Old Glories.
Why else would people not blink (or blink very little) at a string of games that could pretty much all be described as "a good idea not very well implemented in quite a few places"?
Outside for being gay for "M"CA, which is an excuse that has outstayed its welcome.

Has anybody already mentioned another ' Baldur's Gate' yet?

No, because that IP is currently in the hands of Trent Oster and his team of mod downloaders talented programmers.

It may be something related to The Black Hound but that's not really Baldur's Gate.

I don't see how that would be possible, seeing as the player essentially becomes a god after BG2.

On that topic though, since Habro won that court case against Atari and got full control over all D&D video games, Neverwinter Nights 2 has disappeared from the steam store, and from GamersGate, far as I know it's not being sold at all digitally.

This was linked to in another thread
http://www.vg247.com/2011/04/05/rumour-square-enix-publishing-project-x-with-external-studio/

Linkdin profile is the original source, and resumes are pretty accurate as far as leaks go.

Oh, Square "limp wristed" Enix blesses this project? Now we just KNOW this thing will be transcendentally beautiful.

I don't see Square doing a PC-exclusive single player game.

I know, I know. It's enough I have to put up with multiplatform games (and to be sincere I haven't played a non PC exclusive for months now), I simply meant that you shouldn't play everything they throw at us these days - following the "it's shit or shit and a half, what's the big difference". Indulgence leads to a slippery slope. It must not be tolerated.

I think I'll have to ignore you for that, Mr. Davis.
I'm just thinking outside the box here. All my buds at Obsidian say I know what it is, but for the life of me I can't think of what it is.

Unless they...ok I might know what it is.

Stop teasing us and spit it already!!!!!!!

Well if Brother None has actually seen it, that limits greatly what it can be. They had a project that was cancelled, maybe it is no longer cancelled.
