i wonder why would people have weird feelings towards these godlike seeing how many of them there are in the world. Everyone should be pretty much use to them really.
We don't know yet how common they are. Even if they weren't a minority, people may feel the godlikes think themselves better than the normal folk or will just pour out their frustration with the gods they are the progeny of on them. Lots of possible reasons.

They'd better, if they are going to take on the BG games. :incline:

I hope godlikes are very rare. Like, barely anyone in big civilization is one.
On the other hand, who would care if Aumaua would be godlike? They're already fish-folk. Orlans are already half-rodents.
It's interesting that races is a department where PoE is way more fantastical than Forgotten Realms.

hey rope kid in pe is there gonna be a non aspect magic damage type like magic missile was in dnd?
no those sorts of spells typically are crush or pierce damage.

Unified mechanics. :bounce:

is there gonna be a not magic missile spell but hey its magic missile?
yes minoletta's minor missile and its higher-level variants ~*
Thanks to unified mechanics, Isaac's Greater Missile is no longer a no-brainer option.

With Forgotten realms, I mean the IE games set in Forgotten Realms. I am talking about cRPGs. I thought that was extremely obvious since this isn't a PnP game.

NWN2 would be the alternative, but in NWN2 it was all about bonuses and appearance, not NPC reactions.

There was minimal npc reaction on the OC, but it all comes down to the author of the mod, it certanly has the potential to be the most reactive experience ever.

All stupid ones, but seeing how youre a cheap consumer moron that would fit for you.

Godlikes think themselves better? Is that like a racial trate? Every single fucking one does that? And why not, arent they better? And if they not then how the fuck are they god blessed? By what? Idiotic masks on their heads and stupid black smoke hair special effects?
--uuu im a DEATH godlike ta da da daaammmmm! how fucking cool is that MAN?

Arent humans thinking themselves better all the fucking time? The nobles, the rich, the fucking butcher thinks he is better then a baker and on and on.

Moron.

Go fucking work for some PR shits, at least you would get some money for that retarded shit you splurge for free.

I doubt we'll see reactivity to godlike characters apart from a few important NPC's. It's just too much work, especially when you have the option of making an entire party of unique godlikes.

said it on SA, will say it here: it is not possible to write a good video game romance. (non-creepy) romance is contingent on both parties having equal agency. a player interacting with a dialogue tree isn't romance, it's masturbation.
All interaction with NPCs in RPGs is kinda like that. They are just bunch of scripts.

Then again I'm against including romances in cRPGs as they tend to become more and more prominent part of franchise unitl they devour everything else.

What fucking xenophobia? They arent a different race.

What they are is a concept that shouldnt even exist in the game, as its just some shallow superficial, nonsensical crap. Its a stupid, cheap "lets have something awesome!!" crap, that doesnt work or make any fucking sense anyway.

Xenophobia comes from the Greek words ξένος (xenos), meaning "strange," "foreigner," and φόβος (phobos), meaning "fear."
Godlike are a playable race in Pillars of Eternity.
They're minority, they are half-god, they are weird-looking. Hence:

:mob:

For all we know, they could tie heavily into the main storyline.

Godlikes are SOULS AWESOME.

There, tied heavily into the storyline.
See, hiver? :smug: Exactly what I'm talking about.

Fret not, for Joshua Magnum will surely resist the pleas of the biodrone hordes.

Yeah i see, another consumer drone, trying to make an argument from ignorance.

They arent a race, moron. They are just individuals that were god touched - from any race in the game. Which means they are ubiquitous. And not foreign at all. therefore your invented xenophobia excuse is utterly stupid, which fits your personality. Stupid shit.

The idea that people will believe in gods but detest those who are clearly blessed by those same gods is worthy of stupid shits like yourself.
They are not half-gods either you retarded turd. Then again, either godlike have special powers that make them overpowered, or they dont have any special powers which makes them empty superficial schlock for imbeciles.
