Don't worry guys, they'll have 'em in the inevitable sequel.
Ok, you guys are grumpy arrogant faggots
Don't worry guys, they'll have 'em in the expansion.
We don't know yet how common they are. Even if they weren't a minority, people may feel the godlikes think themselves better than the normal folk or will just pour out their frustration with the gods they are the progeny of on them. Lots of possible reasons.i wonder why would people have weird feelings towards these godlike seeing how many of them there are in the world. Everyone should be pretty much use to them really.
They'd better, if they are going to take on the BG games.Don't worry guys, they'll have 'em in the inevitable sequel.
Josh said:no those sorts of spells typically are crush or pierce damage.hey rope kid in pe is there gonna be a non aspect magic damage type like magic missile was in dnd?
Thanks to unified mechanics, Isaac's Greater Missile is no longer a no-brainer option.Josh said:yes minoletta's minor missile and its higher-level variants ~*is there gonna be a not magic missile spell but hey its magic missile?
I hope godlikes are very rare. Like, barely anyone in big civilization is one.
On the other hand, who would care if Aumaua would be godlike? They're already fish-folk. Orlans are already half-rodents.
It's interesting that races is a department where PoE is way more fantastical than Forgotten Realms.
they're gonna be common as muck because the alternative is a shitload of race-specific dialogueI hope godlikes are very rare. Like, barely anyone in big civilization is one
There was minimal npc reaction on the OC, but it all comes down to the author of the mod, it certanly has the potential to be the most reactive experience ever.Lhynn
With Forgotten realms, I mean the IE games set in Forgotten Realms. I am talking about cRPGs. I thought that was extremely obvious since this isn't a PnP game.
NWN2 would be the alternative, but in NWN2 it was all about bonuses and appearance, not NPC reactions.
All stupid ones, but seeing how youre a cheap consumer moron that would fit for you.We don't know yet how common they are. All interaction with NPCs in RPGs is kinda like that. They are just bunch of scripts.said it on SA, will say it here: it is not possible to write a good video game romance. (non-creepy) romance is contingent on both parties having equal agency. a player interacting with a dialogue tree isn't romance, it's masturbation.
Fixed. They'd better, if they are going to take onDon't worry guys, they'll have 'em in the inevitable sequel.theBG2games.
Why should reasons for xenophobia be anything BUT stupid? All stupid ones, but seeing how youre a cheap consumer moron that would fit for you.
What fucking xenophobia? They arent a different race.
Xenophobia comes from the Greek words ξένος (xenos), meaning "strange," "foreigner," and φόβος (phobos), meaning "fear."
They're minority, they are half-god, they are weird-looking. Hence:Godlike are a playable race in Pillars of Eternity.
For all we know, they could tie heavily into the main storyline. What they are is a concept that shouldnt even exist in the game, as its just some shallow superficial, nonsensical crap. Its a stupid, cheap "lets have something awesome!!" crap, that doesnt work or make any fucking sense anyway.
See, hiver? Exactly what I'm talking about.Godlikes are SOULS AWESOME.
There, tied heavily into the storyline.
Fret not, for Joshua Magnum will surely resist the pleas of the biodrone hordes. Then again I'm against including romances in cRPGs as they tend to become more and more prominent part of franchise unitl they devour everything else.
