But again, just to be clear, a lot of actual players actually need these things. I'm not saying this because players come up to me and say, "Josh, I need this." I'm saying this because I'll talk to a tester (volunteer or pro) with a ton of RPG experience and later watch him or her play remotely. Or I'll pop open a Let's Play on YouTube from an enthusiastic player and watch how things turn out. Sometimes they ace it, sometimes they don't. Either way, what I see on that monitor doesn't lie.
Josh Sawyer on Adam Brennecke.:troll: I watched him trying to auto-attack his way past those orcs in chapter one without using any spells and needing to exploit the fog of war and yet he claims he's played all the IE games (maybe Torment :smug:). Wow what a scrub. And I don't want no scrub, a scrub is a guy who can't get no love from me.

Well I wanted to ask you what a 'scrub' is, but I guess you defined it already. Any guy who is unworthy of your love.

FWIW, I'm betting that the kickstarter will not make it to 3.5 mil. I myself jewed out and merely pre-ordered at the lowest tier. I should feel deeply ashamed of such niggardliness, but instead I feel the power of the almighty wrath of the God of Kooldowns passing judgement upon those puny, mortal infidels at Obsidian. Or something like that. I really did want to donate at least at the $140 level, but that was before that short, sharp shock to the back of my head from the announcement of Kooldown Kastle. I'm still feeling a bit woozy actually. I had faith in those guys. Now what I feel is a deep sense of betrayal. Still, I do hope they make it to 3.5 mil. Maybe it won't be as bad as I fear. Maybe Tim can somehow save the combat system from being WoWed.

A scrub is a guy who thinks he's fly and is also known as a busta, always talking about what he wants and just sits on his broke ass.

Tim Cain, whose last project was a WoW-style MMO for women, girls, and gay men?

I just had a thought. I think if they added a zoom in/out feature to the game, the angle of tilt would not matter. Am I wrong in thinking this?

I think that if enough beta testers told them the angle made the game harder to play, they would correct that.

EDIT: Of course, we were also told that the angle would change slightly depending on the maps and whether they wanted us to gawk or to fight.

Based on past KickStarters I'm still saying they'll reach somewhere around ~$3.7 Million

No, seriously. I hadn't heard that they put in cooldowns.

OMG THIS CHANGES EVARYTHING!!!!! WITHDRAW ALL PLEDGES!!!

But seriously Garfunkel, cooldowns are far, far better than D&D vancian bullcrap. Also, they are not MMORPG cooldowns. Basically, you can use a set number of spells per encounter (aka combat) the spells refresh after that single combat. Also, there are lower level spells with unlimited usage.

Kinda like 4e D&D, which is a best edition of D&D ever released (since it does away with most of the vancian bullshit, which is now returning with 5e D&D. Manboon is not a learning animal and all that)
