Sounds like they won't. Sensible, although it could make the final hours feel like a bit of an anti-climax if punters don't have anything palpable to donate towards.

This morning the team is discussing what to do with those remaining eight hours or so. They don't really want to add more to the already enormous game, so Urquhart says he thinks they'll instead invest any more money donated into polish.
"That was the last stretch goal," he said. "It's almost that the game has gotten to be the size it needs to be. Now we just need to fill it out even more."

While Urquhart hasn't had a chance to talk to Schafer since breaking the record, he said that Kickstarter has created a cadre of game developers who keep in close contact with one another. That includes Wastelands 2's inXile Entertainment and Planetary Annihilation's Uber Entertainment.

"Kickstarter has created this community of developers who want to help each other," he said.

We few, we happy few! We band of bros!

Here's a sneak peak of the game after all the fans wishes have been met:

This would be a FUCKING AWESOME RPG.

So, no new picture of the dungeon? Seems they never expected to get all these levels, and the artist didn't draw any deeper ones, and now they have no time

Oh that Tale mod is annoying as shit. Editing my posts for making the same point as those romancetards make while leaving their posts alone.

The optics of having a US only reward tier is pretty crappy for them. Regardless of what trinkets they include or why they have to do it. Without including a corresponding international only tier, they will catch some heat.

$350 tier sold out already. A friend of mine got one of them, so I'll give a report on the swag once it arrives. :salute:

Keep climbing that mountain...

Cool move from the bros at AMD. Almost free advertising, and they help Obsidian as well.

If the Codex reaches $10k will we ask for a tavern to place the encounter with the adventuring party in?

A tavern with trap doors to shanghai tunnels. Clearly, the codex party will wait until the adventurers black out drunk, put them in sacks and carry them to the high seas to satisfy needs work wholesome jobs.

Well, I would love to see a Codexian Inn for the Warriors to lounge Derp around in so I threw $50 of my hard earned money to the Codex fund. Was thinking about the $350 tier but wasn't that impressed by it. Could have probably sold the signed game but not sure which one they would have sent. Would much rather have my name on a scroll and hope we can have the tavern as well.

I'm sure they'll work something out with the final total, but pretty sure DU wants to handle through paypal because Obsidian gets a bigger cut through paypal and he wont have to tranfer the fees to pay through kickstarter he's cheap

That's brilliant because it'd be the romance people seem to crave so badly!
