NO VOICE ACTING!!!!!!!

gamestar is such a shitty magazine... besides that there's nothing new the article is stuffed with little errors. obsidian already stated that the amount of vo will be similar to bg.

well, article explicitly states voicing dialogues isn't being considered to cut down on costs and give more flexibility to the designers. right or wrong, only Josh "NON-AWKWARD EMOTIONAL ENGAGEMENT" Sawyers knows.

I'm pretty sure wrong. It's easy there to misunderstand something, since dialouge won't be FULLY voiced in any case.

And the reason I should not read comments, regardless of language

:hmmm:

(For my english speaking buddies: He basically says that 90's games belong in the 90's and he rather just have his 2013 games in 2013)

I also read the article (gamestar is a shitty magazine here btw) and there is nothing new to find in there, except some errors from the magazines site. Only good for the screenshots. :)

I hope there will be some voice acting. I don't want to mispronounce something for half a year or maybe more and then I get Sawyer coming and posting the supposed correct pronunciation like he did with Dyrwood.

I used google translate to double check of the pronunciation and still ended up getting it wrong.

No fear, we slapped him multiple times for this bullshit. Most of the guys commenting there realy like deep cRPG´s.

sawyer wants to create sequels that are not neccessarily RPGs but use the same setting, he wants "to create a world where many games can happen"

just for clarification: sawyer said that he wants to create a big world where multiple games could have their own places. he also mentioned the elder scrolls as an example, where every game was set in a different area. josh stated that he's not against other genres but obsidian concentrates on crpgs.

I think the idea is that it could also be used as the setting for a publisher-funded AAA "popamole" action-RPG.

They are really dedicated to emulating the steps of the IE games, then. =P

That's cool, finding new spells out in the world is always so much better than some skill tree build shit. Qualitative loot.

What else can people complain about?

Also note that they are also using Firefox.
I can tolerate deviant behaviour like using Explorer due to vast dialogue tree, if that is what picture represents.
