lol I can't believe anyone is defending the Witcher's quality of writing. For fuck's sake, even the title is fucking shitty. You could argue that it didn't survive the translation into English, but I'd suggest it didn't survive the translation into fucking Polish.

God the series is just awful. It reads like a comic book written by a 14 year old who just discovered Uncanny X-Men.

One of these days I'm going to do some digging and see just what the ratio of European fanbois to shitty European titles is. I bet it's pretty high, higher than the American equivalent.
