It's probably too early to announce PoE Gold, might it be PoE 2 Fig hype?

There's already a PoE Gold version, that's how the boxed version including the base game and White March I/II is called (available in German speaking countries only, I think). Though it apparently has been rebranded to GotY since the press release in January.

I just noticed the terrible timing. March 15th, 5PM Pacific. That's 8PM Eastern. That's when Florida's polls close. Probably others as well. Most people will be paying attention to the presidential primaries instead of this stream.

There's not necessarily much crossover between people who are interested in politics and people who are interested in games.

Regardless, Mega Tuesday, Obsidian announcement, plus hilarious "Discussion on the Gaming Community" panel at SXSW = extremely news-heavy day.

I disagree. I mean, just look at the Codex itself, Reddit, NeoGAF, even YouTube channels. These are the communities with people who'd care about a stream like this. It's also a subject that will dominate social media.

Well I know I'm going to be multitasking.

Why, you'll get all the news on the Codex. It's basically a big feedreader for games and politics with the additional benefit of Infinitron live blogging Obsidian twitch streams in a thread.

The general discussion forums on the codex are much more popular the the rpg related ones, I think there's a massive overlap in interests.
