Effective and affordable build, if you can stand the playstyle. Some cool Animu Guardian tech inside.

Got bored while leveling Shadow for Hexblast miner (self-casting it is miserable) so...
Another test with the self-cast Forbidden Rite for Blight-ravaged maps. I mean - most builds can do them, but with this one it shouldn't take an eternity to decrease the ridiculous HP pools from unique monsters.
Had like 10? collecting dust and did all of them - 3x amber and rest for lucky chests.

STILL failed some of them because, for some unexplainable reasons, some monsters just get past the obstacles - chill III (with ring annoint that freeze them), seismic III, minion IV (one durable) and all of them in the range of empowering tower III.
No mods affecting monster speed.
In fact - I did 2 maps scoured. And both failed due to problem above.
What in the damnation?

Didn't they fixed that issue with Juggernaut(?) archenemsis mod already?

the best loot came from one 78quan map - one divine from the pump and one from the chest. Nothing extraordinary. 5/10 experience would not do that again...

If you want your blight-ravaged maps to be over more quickly, consider annointing one of your rings with the enchant that makes your Meteor Towers leave burning ground. The damage goes through immunities as well. Worked like a charm for me last league. All other damage towers don't help as much. Also Occultist and/or 2x Obliterations help a lot.

I had meteor annoints, but still set mostly blocking towers for safety measure.
Obliteration wands is nice but I have no issues with non-unique mobs.

Now something different.
Grand Design + Growing Hordes = better than Nem3. No need for sextants because you'll hunt eldritch mobs.
Best map to run? Mausoleum, it's simple and for some reasons it does not show boss mods on the altairs. Immunity to burning ground and more than 75 fire res is recommended.
All you need is scarabs, a lot of them in fact. Any... You can fill 3-4 map slots in the device with same type of scarabs (like gilded Metamorp scarab) and game use all of them. Enjoy 100%+ pack size.

Leaving maps with 20-50 chaos orbs and other goodies (mostly embers) with alch+go is just absurd.
Run while you can.

Huck now brings along his Rogue Equipment when accompanying you in Maps.
like "packed with energy" but for the right side of the tree

It really sucks how much I have to invest into a build for it to feel even half as good as during Delirium league or Ritual league, Rares feel better but can still be pretty tanky but the charm of this game maybe is just wearing on me and I'm coping.
I still think the support gem damage nerf is probably the worst change ever happened to this game since I started playing it..

I reached level 90 and I'm really fucking bored since it doesn't matter how much divines I put I'm never always one shotting rares so I can't move on to a different build since this one feels incomplete, oh well :negative:

What is the most brain-dead non-RF viable build right now? I was thinking of going cyclone slayer and just spinning the maps to death, but looking at builds, even that requires now dozens of defensive skills/totems/other mechanics I don't want to think about while my character hacks'n'slashes around.

I am not sure if many such exist anymore. Minions were at one point until they nerfed them.
I was thinking Explosive arrow ballista totem Champion for my Xbox run for this league as targeting shit with a controller is hard so I am always looking for brain dead builds. It is supposed to be tanky with good dps.

I think Minion builds should still work. They just got more expensive. :/

And yeah, some totem/bow or totem/wand builds are rather low effort as well. Within limits.
Minions should be good for sanctum at least. Ignore minion defences, pure minion offence.

Raging spirits doing chaos dot seem to be the new minion meta and you can level it as phys.

Ignite vortex is the most brain dead build but lvling it and getting currency for it with WoC seems pain, I tried doing a quick test with just bitterdream and didn't seem to work maybe you add emberwake.

Yeah, new supporter packs look amazing but still expensive for a game that you cannat see shit after a few levels.
Also, I gave up on Poe 1.0 but I'm going in full nerd rage mod if they don't upgrade basic, non MTX armor for 2.0. They got really talented designers but use them only for MTX

I see this is where their focus has been all this time. I just watched whole trailer and frankly this seems to be more and more korean mmo situation where they completely ignore base content and focus only on shop. For reminder there are still ton of unques that don't have their own 3D art. There are 3 generations of reused weapons and armors that don't make sense in game without multiple difficulties like previosly game had, ton of enemies are recolors that do absolutely nothing functionally.
Any of those could be easily reworked into actual interesting unique with actual use in game that players could have fun using.

The whole capes being reserved for micro was already sour grapes this is just taking it few levels further.

I wonder when will be the tipping point where korean mmo will take full course. A year ? Two ?

Jeez, that supporter pack...
Having a persistent health bar over uniques/rares would be nice, and so would visual indicators for cooldowns.... they even implemented zoom out.

I got a PS5 last week, downloaded PoE but I can't bring myself to leave Lionseye Watch and go to Mud Flats yet again:/ The controls are awkward, especially inventory management, but I've just gone through this game one too many times.

Did they ever unnerf Spellslinger? I miss my Crook build :/

It does feel like they are selling some minor QoL disguised as cosmetics. I'd love to have a different indicator of when my Vaal skills are ready instead of having to look at that tiny icon in the bottom right of my screen but I'm not going to pay 160$ and having to wear a certain armor to have that. Even being able to move some UI elements around would be nice.

They had that for a long time. It's used rarely like in the quest where you have to burn the flag in A6 or in the Sirus fight.

Arguably yes, but none of that is controlled by the player.

Yeah. But with this being sold as a microtransaction, I guess the odds of getting it as free QoL is slim.

The Obliteration is there to help with the boss, as he will be surrounded by normal mobs and when you kill them, they will all chunk him with the explosions from Obliteration.

golemancer reached maps. Kitava was a breeze. My first receivet map turned out to be... kitava. Everything was a breeze up to the point 3 yellow demons got spawned. Impossible.

Luckily I had 1 more map, which was a breeze.

At this point single support gem would be enough to roll a new build around it... no such thing spawned though
