Wanting to do a full Evil meme run as a scion of House Rogarvia (red dragon descendents) dont know if its better to go Eldritch Scion or Sorcerer/Eldritch Knight. Is the full bloodline line worth it or not ?
Dragonheir Scion into DD

DD (eventually) lets you gish. Dragonheir with full BAB/Weapon Training + Duelist Gloves makes your Natural Attax suck less plus gets Standard Action Dazzling (and Riving Strike with TTT on the Arcane Strikes).

I've finally finished the main campaign, maybe I'll check out DLC ones later. I've expected way worse from last act, but at that point you're free from KM and have all spells/stats/abilities to make it a breeze, so both HATEOT and Lanter King were enjoyable, although most enemies being wild hunt felt lame when you fight them even during grand finale. Overall, the game was a slog, and I doubt I'll ever replay it again, I didn't like anything much outside of the few big dungeons there are. Most of the playthrough was spent visiting same few copypasted locations that barely have anything of importance, then doing Kingdom Management. Said Kingdom Management was the worst piece of shit system ever designed, nothing about it makes sense, you don't make any meaningful choices, it eats up way too much time, and it's barely relevant to the adventuring part despite the game being called Kingmaker. I've read the sequel has even more repetitive minigame, so I think I'll be skipping future Owlcat releases.

Isn't there an "auto" or "easy" option for kingdom management that basically lets you ignore that part of the game?

edit: afaik the mini games from the kingdom management also give some good items but they might be skippable if you reaaaaaaly don't like that part of the game.

You can set it on auto, but I've read auto picks worst choices, and you won't get artisans, didn't want to redo whole playthrough in case something goes wrong. There're misleading tooltips and items/abilities that don't work, wouldn't want to trust AI either.

But the archetype you're talking about don't exist in this game.
It does if you put enough mods on it. After all, that is what it recommends as the ultimate guide to playing the game: make it into another.

Third time I’ve done that now.

Apologies. We did it in Depths/CotW with Scaled Fist and it was nice a couple years ago.

This is a decent burn, though i doubt most people want to put 2,000 hrs into vanilla either.

The patience? It surely did. Anyway, playing the dungeon DLC now, feels much more fun, even if mindless.

The only normal type of response about Shitmaker...

The management bit was confusing and it says a lot that they added an option to do it with god mode activated or simply skip it.

God mode only disables you losing the game via kingdom ruin. You can still get into the spiral of death where your kingdom's stability fucks up your event rolls and you can't get the points to level up your advisors and the game starts throwing higher and higher difficulty events at you, and so on and so forth. That there is an event that INSTANTLY and REPEATEDLY penalises your stability WITHOUT WARNING and without an easy way to mitigate quickly is just vomit icing on a shit pie.

Sounds like a very accurate model of a kingdom under pressure from stronger and more insidious opponents. It's almost like IRL, like the USSR at the end of the 1980s.

Thank you for more praise for the game.

Well, that the USSR was ruled by Russians pretty much sealed its fate. Fortunately, the rest of us can see that the Russian way isn't something to aspire towards. That this shit was made by Eastern eurotards suddenly makes so much more sense.

Is there any way to dispel or gain immunity against Dominate Monster at lvl 12?
To dispell it you only have Dispel Magic at those levels, I think. Break Enchantment only works on L5 and below. You can try charming/dominating your own character back. For protection, I can't think of any hard counters. Just stuff that will boost saves.

Yeah, it just boosts AC and saves a bit. I also encountered a bug where illusion weaver isn't targetable in real time mode, very fun and playtested DLC.

The save/AC boosts don't stack. The Protection from Dominate effect was undocumented for a long time in Wrath so may be there in P:K.

Unbreakable Heart may also provide immunity/delay.

Yes, you are playing the Russian tsar at the end of WW-1, or the General Secretary before 1991. However, Kingmaker gives players a chance to survive and even win - the one that was not given to both Russian states.

Tough luck, huh.
