I don't understand this decision by the writers at all, really
They say it's possible they will change this

I am more butthurt my evil playthrough finally finished but slides got cut on pitax (what happened to my under heel slave ork lover? gamu?) and in the endgame Tsanna has cool little evil event but it does not give bonuses

But at least Tartuk & "Varn" were bros till the end

I need a break from this shit. Pitax was disappointing and I can feel the game is slowly falling apart.

Also, the game constantly reminds me why I still prefer IE games (Except ToB). It's authenticity. Or at leat some attempt at it.

Castle in BG2 - some bloke copied castle architecture from NatGeo magazine or whatever. And it worked.
Castle in Neverwinterfinder - a rectangle to be filled with monsters and loot.

Items in BG2 - you can find epic loot on liches and buy it in the magical and spooky Underdark.
Items in Neverwinterfinder - you can find epic loot in a barrel buy it from a late game fun fair merchant.

Yes, I am butthurt over weird things.
I think that BG2 is a bad example, because BG1 was much better in both these regards, with BG2 starting the downhill slide towards exactly the issues you describe, but as for the points themselves, I can't disagree. I think PF:K is still a great game, but these are definitely things that could've been better.

Someone who actually knows how to play the game streams now from devs and he is also the reason there is no Intensify spell in game

Allowing Hargulka or Tartuk to keep their kingdom through the Chaotic dialogue option immediately removed the player from the dungeon, missing on possible treasure or resolving the Harrim's companion quest. Resolution: after striking an alliance with Hargulka or Tartuk, they now allow players to finish exploring the dungeon until they leave it on their own.

Oh, fuck you guys.

I know right. God damnit, I wanted my kobold alliance AND Harrim's quest to work back when I was at that part. Now I get no kobold alliance. Little tip if you do get the kobold alliance, there's a merchant out front (kobold) who sells every item that was stashed in the tomb, probably a few you missed. And kobolds add a lot of espionage to your kindom stats with their buildings.

So my druid is king now. And all he got was a crown that makes him look like the village idiot (which ok, he has 7 int) and 20+ cards to resolve upon logging into his kingly management console. :|

If anyone is curious what you get as the city centerpiece as chaotic neutral (though apparently it's only an illusion, since you can walk through it):

It's in the game, just not for PCs :argh:
Did he elaborate on why it's not a player option?

Because then Maguses would always use Shocking Grasps and ignore all other spells.
Meh, that's still viable with Perfect Components belts/Maximize rods, but I don't think that's really true. Vampiric Touch is still better than Shocking Grasp, Grease is OP, obviously defensive spells are good, and Sirocco is all you need for endgame basically.

It agree it's bad design... but you seem to not exactly remember BG2.

Robe of Vecna (AKA robe of cheese)? You could buy it after 3/4 hours of game...Shield of Balduran? same.

Robe of Vecna and Shield of Balduran are from shitty free proto-DLC added after the release. And they mark the start of decline.

Also, at least they are in a special maaagical shop, that makes a bit better.

All I know about loot is that there was nothing better than finding that Frost Elven Curve Blade +3 after I had spec'd Jaethal into Focus and Critical Focus on Elven Curve Blades. Felt like my speccing paid off big. And as king gripping my Dueling Sword +3 after getting the Proficiency with it and seeing my damage and attack bonus skyrocket. 'Tis a great feeling, the loot is *just right* in this game, in my humble opinion. There are lots of options for speccing different weapons and types, and you'll eventually find something interesting for your tastes.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I started a new game and was looking forward to when I could kick Amiri out of the party for Jumilost - she just isn't growing on me like Minsc did. Pre-patch I remember an event occuring with Jubilost:
Where he was attacked at the river crossing
But this time I got an encounter with Bartholomew:
Where he gets attacked by trolls

Both events led to the location
of the troll lair
. Please don't tell me there's a bug where the game thinks I let Jubilost down and I wont be able to get him in my party. As bad as Amiri and Valerie are, I'd probably replace one with Tristian and just let him stand there casting healing in battles. Or I'd rather stick to a party of 4 than take the ditsy whore and her orc.

Both dueling sword and elven blade have GREAT endgame options.

Jubilost will always get attacked at the river crossing.
He will only join you right away if you save his cart. Otherwise he'll go to the capital and only join you later.

And what about the Cloak of Reflection that makes half of the enemies useless?

If you cleared location before troll crysis started you should revisit it for Jubilost.

It just reflects electric damage and you can find it in a super serious dungeon IIRC.

At least in vanilla BG2 there were no Watcher's Keep. If you looking for retarded loot placing you don't need to look further.

Thanks - I realized I had forgotton to turn on the 'show location names' option. They must have added the Bartholomew quest, because I did it exactly the same the last time.

You are confusing it with Cloak of Mirroring.
True, I forgot its real name so I just called it by its effect :D

That cloak was not added in DLC and it was most retarded item you could get in SoA.
While Robe of Vecna was most retarded item to use in ToB with Sorcerers and Wizards.

That cloak was changed with Add-on to just make you immune to direct magic damage. You would be still vulnerable to many other spells.
