Standin' pretty. In this dust that was a city.
It is because you play on easy. On harder difficulties artisan items do matter, and you will use rations in other dungeons too.
You missed the point. I don't appreciate being given items I haven't worked for, because I don't do welfare.

Not everyone is insecure to a point where he needs to prove himself speshul in a single player game, but I won't judge.

Dueling swords makes sense, since you're in Aldori territory.
As for curve blades, you're in the forest a lot, I guess? There aren't that many important elves I remember outside of Jamandi, some artisans, and Storyteller
if he is actually an elf
Yeah, I didn't mean to shit on it for not making in-universe sense or anything, it more a bit weird from a design perspective. But yes, out of the exotic weapons, the dueling swords probably make the most sense. It's harder to explain why I'm finding more Kukris than shortswords and more elven blades than flails or maces, etc.
True, the itemization is pretty wonky. Maybe the fact that there are so few Longswords is Avellone trolling Sawyer for Deadfire having 10x more unique swords than any other weapon.

well the alternative is: they have chosen an hyper realistic loot distribution and the magical items are placed based on deity weapons and cultural weapons and for that reason you find a sling only in some ancient tomb.

OR they have rolled the dices for all the treasure in the game before place the stuff. ( stuff found on dead enemy make sense stuff on container fell random wven when fixed placed)

Turns out going full out chaotic neutral in the matters of state (this is the land of freedom, no taxes for anyone) actually saves your kingdom.:lol::lol: Kingdom was already troubled, but now everyone is back to serene.

Dramafag: Let's have a game full of exotic weapons and make normal weapons rare! Otherwise, what's the point of having exotic weapons??? Give them a chance to SHINE!!!
Sane Player: Umm... you know why they are called exotic in the first place, right?

yes but how exactly a “bastard sword” is exotic?

It's a right royal bastard to wield one-handed?

BSword is a martial weapon when you wield it two-handed.

One-handed is the exotic way of wielding it.

The Autumn sale gave Kingmaker a nice boost to its review score. Not as good as Deadfire (95% overwhelmingly positive), but it went from 57% mixed to 70% mostly positive.

I actually checked this. And. Its true. 94% positive.
This is such bland, banal shit boring game. With zero innovation and piratey teme done wrong.

What is wrong with people?

You just miss all fun. Playing this game on easy or normal is like having sex in spacesuit.

There's nothing wrong with normal if you adjust the settings to core.

Inflated stats are a shit way to balance a game.

Not really. The implementation of difficulty in this game is sadly, typical to this day and age, and relies solely on stat bloat. If it actually meant better AI or different battles (more/different enemies) then maybe.
Stat bloat is why I rate the game lower than I would normally for a game like this. Lazy game devs should not be enabled.

Of course, I also lowered the rating because of the bug singularity and even more for the rabid fanbois.

Has anyone played as an assimar and/or a paladin? I'm just curious about how reactive the game is towards the race and class, plus their heritage and deity selection.
This kind of reactivity is one of the game's weakest points, unfortunately. Only once or twice in passing did I notice references to having Shelyn as a deity, and that was by Valerie (do note that this was on a character that only made it to starting Chapter 3).

Same goes for my Chaotic Neutral Elven Eldritch Archer-Scion (with a lvl of Sorcerer). Not a single comment on anything.

Race or class is hardly mentioned what is important is your alignment giving you options for quest solving and deities but those are less important mostly in flavor text.... sometimes your companions comment on those and sometimes you have an extra dialogue line when you encounter artifact or person related to your deity. Only once specific deity gave my paladin Asssimar option to get LG points for the same thing you got LE normally.

people meet notice that you are the baron or the king, the other stuff become secondary and nobody care about it.

The nature of PK revios is a subject to great change and turmoil

- great gaem +
- died to spider swarms ---
- will only change back to + if you fix this bug
- bug gets fixed, but reviewer forgets to change review to positive anyway (or new bug gets introduced instead of old one)
- ends up as "terrible game only will rate up if fix bugs, stopped playing for now!..... 36753483 hours on record, 24 hours played today"

Fanbase. Most of the people who played were fans of obsidian as evident by sales.
Still while i agree that story itself is weak and some characters are bad overall especially combat is much better than even updated POE1 and that alone warrants a positive score.

Kingmaker first needs to patch its bugs. Having 3,5add clone rtwp mechanics also doesn't help as they are proven to be clunky as fuck and not fun by basically every 3,5add crpg game there is. Only TOEE managed to make it fun but they achieved it by simply sticking to PnP rules and making it turn based like it should.

I played a bit Kingmaker i love setting, characters etc. but it needs to be first patched to be playable.

steam reviews are a joke, how can you play something for 200 hours and give it a thumbs down?
Rare but possible. You can get scammed to do something ingame that eats a lot of time, believing it matters, just to learn it doesn't and that time ain't coming back. Eg. I spent something close to that sperging settlement building in Fallout 4 before actually "playing" it and seeing what unredeemable piece of garbage it was, so for me it's the worst gaming experience possible.

In my opinion dialogues in game too much focused on alignment. I mean my main character is a halfling, but I can't say to Jubilost that Halfling's alcohol isn't that bad (when brewer comes for funds).

Do you prefer reviews from corporate shill website or reviews with 1 hour in game an claims "gaem is shite, cus no Call of Duty"? You can't analyze a complex game like Pathfinder in 2 hours. Although I think that game is alright (despite bugs and alignment mess), I respect that someone put their time in game and formed opinion instead of just refusing to play like Eurogamer (or who is shill websites refused to review, I don't remember).

Steam revios are about recommending game to others and you can't recommend something where you have to report a bug a day and then wait until they fix your party critically stuck somewhere due to it

They could use "wait for it" rating

Why would you play something like Fallout 4 in first place? Man, get some help.
