Dunno about DoS 1, but I heard that DoS 2 sold around 5 million copies. I think if in Pathfinder will be implemented turn-based mode - it will sell a bit more.Is that good? How much did DoS 1 and 2 sell?

Oops, I have been mistaken. I saw information about 5 millions somewhere on codex, tho.I wonder where you found this info. Even 3kk would be extremely optimistic for PC version of D:OS 2 and Steamspy is useless after Valve closed API.
It was
Divinity: Original Sin 2 1,688,895
in June 2018 leak.

Imo unfair is idiotic mainly at the beginning of the game, from ~lvl8-9 onwards you usually should have the tools to handle it without too much trouble and in chapter 1 and the start of ch2 you at the very least can pick which stuff to do first, ie farm XP with the easier stuff before attemting the more challenging fights.I must admit that game is more enjoyable for me on Hard than on Unfair. I completed last one for achieve, but stat and damage bloat limits efficient builds too much for my liking. And summon spam turns stale really fast.
Main idea with making P:K accessible was relying at casuals being conscious enough about their skill to choose comfortable difficulty.
But it failed spectacularly cause they turned out to be a prideful bunch with idea that any "normal" is beneath them.
That was what was said right at the beginning of the piece. The howling from the shills was deafening. The Codex called that kind of fucktarded stupidity "incline".I’ve learned how to get through Unfair early game pretty consistently without too many reloads. But it just means spamming rest, True Strike, Fan of Flames, Stone Call, etc. You do it once, and it feels like a shackle on how to play instead of a clever discovery. Doing anything else in the early game is just submitting yourself to insane RNG.
The increase in difficulty was always the wrong kind.
D:OS2 broke over a million? Impressive for a somewhat niche RPG. I recall how happy the lead developer was when the first game in the series made 200K.
Watching shills like you cry like lost children is hilarious.I still dont get it why Cael is ultra butthurt about Kingmaker.
Is Varnhold's lot even good?
Also I wish the game would react more to your race/class choice but I guess PoE 1 and 2 spoiled me a bit on that
Yes real C&C is better then in POE1&2, but POE checks about race and class still nice. Sure it's mostly just txt reaction but still fluff is nice.It reacts to your choices more than PoE ever did, even if the bar is not high due to most reactivity in PoE ever being just banal superfluous stuff.
