Not very. This is a good thing.
It's got it in broad strokes, but it's a massive improvement. I suspect that we're basically playing the adventure path as interpreted and "fixed" by the developer's own campaign notes, more or less.

Laughter works better than grease since it's will-based.

Can't stack like 5 puddles of Laughter on the ground, though. The best combination really is to cast a bunch of grease first, throw a web or two, and then when the combat starts to try to use Hideous Laughter on him.
The Grease alone should be enough, though.

Applying turn-based to Kangmaker is like taking a powerful hammer to a pile of shit. Of all the legit problems this game has, combat mode is not one of them.
something close to 40. going for achivo.
idk, I wouldn't call it really good. but it's still addictive for some time. running parties through a gauntlet always is.

Owlish, you’re a bro, love your shitposting in GD but you’re wrong about this game. Of course it’s kids stuff as all of these games are but it allows a more build and mechanical freedom than DA:O as well as lacks the content scope restrictions enforced by the 3D graphics and voice acting. At the end of the day, those were the main differences between DA:O and the IE games anyways. This falls somewhere between BG1 and 2 in terms of style and quality
