I think I've wasted over 30 hours playing the Beneath the Stolen Lands DLC. And so far, I think I've enjoyed Eldritch Scoundrel a lot. It's basically like the Arcane Trickster, except cooler.

It’s nicely balanced. I’ve switched my Slayer MC to it because Studied Target is still stacking and Dispelling Strike is bugged/sucks (thinks my level is 1 and also dispels debuffs). It was the main reason I went Slayer to begin with, so when I respecced I just went Elf Scoundrel. Spamming Sense Vitals is pretty freaking strong when you’re two-weapon.

I’m wondering whether I even need Shatter with -8 AC Debilitating. Anyone have any experience with the capstone?

Cool. I've just been spamming ray touch spells and cantrips on mine. Probably not the best way to play the class, but I am enjoying this playstyle.

They didn't, they protested it. Rightly so.
On Saturday you wrote:

The Poz pushed by the Gamergate freaks on games and gamers is illiberal.

Now you're saying that GG protests IDPOL. So which is it, is GG pushing it or protesting it?

Of course Gamergaters aren’t pushing the Poz. I can see where that could be ambiguous. The Gamergate freaks means the freaks (Sliverstring Media and their journo buds) who sparked the whole thing.

The VCs behind it tried (and mostly succeeded) to shut down any criticism so now the people who pushed back are known as Gamergaters, either affectionately by those who know what happened or derisively by the freaks and/or those who fell for their bullshit.
OHHHHH. Man I was confused by that fucking comment.

So since it's 50% off on GOG currently, I was considering picking it up. Any DLC worth getting as well or is the base game good enough as is?

Base game is good as is. You don't want to get the DLCs, only to later find out you don't actually like the game. Get the base game, try it out. If you like it, then go ahead and buy the DLCs. All three DLCs are solid.

I’ve found the Wildcards DLC to contain a ton of semi-hidden convenience boosts that make the game play a lot smoother.

StagLord was a pushover. His aide that I got to turn-coat and the owlbear I tamed didn't even get to swing. I had also poisoned him and killed his lieutenants, so I guess I went in under optimal conditions. Now its on to the coronation. Overall, a satisfying first chapter. My efforts to be mindful of time and stress attrition also paid off. I think I rested 10 times maximum. I hope the kingdom management won't suck. Onward and upward!

Are any of the DLCs good? I saw that one of them was a RNG Dungeon so that one can be safely skipped, but what of the other two?
Wildcards is the only one that I would recommend for a main campaign, with a new race, class and rather good companion's questline.

Other 2 could be played separately or acquired later, even after chapters 1-2 if you liked the game enough.

None of them is mandatory. Lack of content is not a concern with P:K.

I am pretty sure some of the areas got buffs in EE. I took my lvl 10 4 man party into Dire Woods yesterday and entered some area that had 3 Primal Tree creatures, 1 lvl 14 Primal Hydra (that could sneak attack wtf) and 4 Nixes that spammed Confusion. They destroyed my ass and I didn't feel like trying 5 times so I decided to come back later.

The RNG dungeon was (badly) implemented in-game including (a scandalous shortage of) unique loot along with various other additions (implementation of Advanced Weapon Training feats for Fighters, for instance) so if you like the game it’s worth getting all three. Varnhold is handy for testing builds since you start out near level six with 25k gold.

Immunity from Compulsions kingdom project is nice for that one. Rushed Arcane for Teleportation Circles but blanket immunities has been nice too. Quagmire also features fighting around traps.

You seem to be the most autistic person on this thread. When, EXACTLY, should I start Varnhold's Lot?
Do Varnhold's Lot before you do the main game because it gives you extra stuff in the main campaign

Probably after pulling your head out of your ass, rather than before. But what do I know?

“Here’s a casual, baseless insult, will you help me now?” = autistic

Yeah, i'm close to finishing first EE run too, and noticed few changes like this. And ofc super saiyan Bokken, or several new

artisan's items or cooking recipes(+2 spell DC for a day hurr durr).
 Owlcat.

Right before travelling there to help/investigate fill be fine.

I must say im completely hooked on this game. I don't really care much about the story tbh, it seems pretty simple (im around chapter 2) but the games so good.
Having said that i feel its getting easier each level i go up, is it like that or its just where im at at the game?

You reached what is in PnP called "a sweet spot". It lasts from lvl 5 to about lvl 13 when enemies start using death spells... well in PnP they do. Here it lasts a bit longer until you reach House.

That's how it is, even on unfair you will reach a point where the game becomes easy. The difficulty spike should start picking up later in the game, and trust me make sure you've stocked up on scrolls/spells. That end game difficulty spike is a bitch if you don't know what you're doing.
