Guys, even Jason Bulmahn (the Gigax of Pathfinder) had problem in some encounters. https://youtu.be/TCfFY9JBkLs?t=2092

I had no problem against this Bear using animate dead but as a paladin i belive that the best strategy is drink a potion and run(like he plans to do after being destroyed some times)
Yeah, he got his butt kicked. I would have scouted the area first. See if I could use the environment to my advantage. Maybe hatch up an escape plan, if necessary. I remember when I first tried my luck against it. I was playing on Unfair and it was dealing somewhere around 40-50 damage on each hit.
a) there's other ways to get out of there than just fighting all those mobs. b) it was SO obvious that it was a trap.
I think he knew it was a trap. I guess he just wanted to see if he can beat the mobs?

Well fair enough, it's just it was being framed as EVEN THIS AWESOME GUY COULDN'T DO IT when actually all you need is one invisibility potion and you're good

Desiderius do you have a working Feyspeaker Druid build? I think it is the absolute worst Archtype in the game. You have a druid that sacrifice delay in Shapeshift for some Arcane spells that is cast at 1 level higher spells level. Unless you are thinking of not bringing Arcane Spellcaster at all, there is really no reason to play this class mechanically.

Lol.

It's not. Mirror Image is that good. Think Displacer Beast. More accurately twin Displacer Beasts. It's dominant. Natural attacks don't care about BAB progression, especially Smilodon. This is another case like Crusader of figuring out what you're using your action economy for. If it's fighting Wild Shaped, you need better buffs, and that's what Feyspeaker gives you.

Image is Personal. I've tried every way possible to get around that, including Alchemist/Mystic Theurge. Doesn't work. Wand and Belt are short duration and at the mercy of Artisan randomness.

For Val specifically because of her low WIS and the probable bug (yes, NJClaw) of Natural Spell requiring WIS for Feyspeaker instead of CHR combined with her level of TSS I haven't Wild Shaped her much yet except for fun. I now have the gear to get her Natural Spell at lvl 13 in time for Smilodon Wild Shape. MC Feyspeaker could get it by lvl 7 and start fighting as Wolf at that point.

With constant Mirror Image and giving her Smilodon pet Displacement for hard fights this is by far the strongest Val I've played. I fell in love with her getting Longstrider at level 2.

She beat Frederico by accident (she needs to lose that fight in her quest to become less AWFL).

The offensive Enchantment spells on that list are all Bard spells that Arcane can get at higher levels so I always have access to those if I want them (this time Linzi is specializing in Enchantments). Gnome Arcane Sorc or whatever already does the Illusion spells much better, and Druid by and large already has fine offensive spell options.

I thought that didn't matter? Isn't it how you concluded the quest that matters? At least for Valerie?

Matters to whom? Bros before hos. Not into spoiled phillistine snobs. She starts getting her mind right after that. Interesting that the writers still keep her LN though.

I got Hambeard working on a new mod for Tristian
  • changes his domains to Fire primary and Glory secondary
  • initial feats changed to Spell Focus Evo, Greater Spell Focus Evo, and Elemental Focus (Fire)
  • stats changed to STR 10, DEX 14, CON 14, INT 10, WIS 19, CHA 14
  • skills changed to 3 Per 3 Lore(Religion)
Based off the code from Call of the Wild so it should be absolutely solid

I mean that the duel doesn't matter. What matters is how you do the trial.

Man, we all love Kingmaker, but your judgment is completely obfuscated by your passion for the game.

You make good points, but I did agree with the laundry list of critiques you and PinkEye came up with.

I don't agree, nor do you I think, that the bugs are countless and the fixes completed with all that implies about Owlcat's frame of mind. To the extent these things were bugs it was as likely that they weren't fixed due to balance, fun, or convenience reasons as negligence, given the slow but constant fixing of other bugs.

I'll find out soon. This is the first time I've defeated him. I'd imagine that killing him would matter in that he wouldn't be there to fight at your side at the trial.

Huh. Do let me know what happens when you complete her quest.

The first one is potion of heroism. The second one is potion of lesser restoration.

Ooooh, I didn't know that.

sorting by type gets sorted by name also so first one is alchemist flask.
Nah, the Alchemist's Fire has the little flame thing and has a different cap. The first one is Heroism, the second one is Lesser Restoration. The other yellow ones are Mage Armor (more "rectangular") and Remove Blindness (with the "elixir" shape).

Mage armor is always easy to remember. it's rectangular and blue. I think it's the only one like that.
