Pit spells seemed really strong but I'm finding the 1 minute intermission in the middle of the fight where I can't chunk the enemies to be a big drawback. Maybe I'm retarded though and there is a way to work around that.

I just fought Silky encounter..How i supposed to hit her with any consistency? I dealt with all spiders but i had 3 of my characters hitting her and missing 8 attack in row. I had lower the dificulty to weak enemy so i could actually hit her. Is that normal? Lol

Blind her (makes flat-footed = no DEX bonus, and additional -2 AC). Fortitude is weak save for Fae.

Dispel her Barkskin.

Touch AC via Bombs/energy Kinetic Blasts/Ray spells/Touch Spells.

Burn.

Shaken + Shatter Defenses.

Or git gud and brute force her skinny ass. Flanking helps.

Okay, finally finished Season of the Bloom.

I haven't spent a dime on BP, so I assume I should spend at least half my gold (150k) on BP and start upgrading everything? My kingdom stats are pretty shitty.

Getting the arcane advisor unlocked (by raising divine) and upgraded is good because it allows you to build some very helpful stuff. If you're going to burn BP on buildings I'd suggest maybe doing that first.

Strongly agree about the first part, I only min-max in competitive online games. What makes you think a humble druid suits the story most though? You're playing a mercenary who seeks to become a ruler, and who spends much of his time developing his kingdom. I was tempted to play one myself, but decided against it because I thought a "druid king" who builds cities etc. wouldn't feel right.

Fucking did it. I just to had to conceal Jae , spam Alchemist Potions , got a lucky crit then rush her sorry ass. Reloaded the save because i feel like cheating.. Fuck this game is hard.

If you don't you might get the "spiral of death" when it comes to the kingdom. That was how my first playthrough ended. It was just mismanaged.

Yeah, I don't know why a druid would want a baron. Perhaps to build some kind of cove for nudist druids or something.

I turned the game to hard once I got to Chapter 2, I would say challenging is good for CH1, and then hard from CH2 and onward.

I've tried to make it harder by not resting as long as possible. (Though I'm still stocking up on scrolls and way too many potions.) Haven't had to use a lot of them, same with wands.

I am thinking of imposing a new challenge on myself to make things a bit more difficult, less use of Jubliost?

Nok-Nok is just kind of murdering everything.
