Did you pick the Boon Companion feat? Else the pet will be 2 levels behind your ranger's.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So I'm at the last boss and I seriously need some help before I throw the computer out of the window.

My main issue is the damage lantern king dish out. In phase 3 I managed to kill all his little annoying pals, but the damage he does is just too much for me. And it's almost pointless to attack since every swing is a miss, and every spell also miss. So I'm wondering, is there a way to limit the damage he does? He seems to hit through every kind of protective spell I put up. Does not seem to matter. And god I fucking hate range in this game, especially those elven fucks that has 400000 attacks per turn. Maybe there is a place somewhere to buy healing scrolls, maybe I can just spam through if I got enough of those...

Harrim is a resounding "meh" in all regards. His one exception is the "Touch of Chaos" ability, which can be a boss killer. Overall, I'm having a better experience with Tristian. I've just about reached the point in the game where I don't need healing though. The essential buffs are pretty low level, and can be covered by Linzi and Jubilost, along with whatever meager healing I need.

Always need a cleric in a 6 man RPG. Not taking one would be fundamentally wrong and Harrim isn't some pretty boy traitor like Tristan. Don't be like the ladies - roll with the dwarf!

I beat him on Challenging but in the last battle Jub and Tristan just spammed the 100's of Mass Heal and Resurrection scrolls I bought from the fey vendor.

Yeah, that is my plan... but can you still access her or am I fucked? Can't find her.

IDK its been a while. She might be in one of the locations you clear (wasn't there a inn or barn or something?) or back at the beginning. I bought a ton of scrolls (Resurrection FoM, MH) after about 20 minuets of the house so didn't need to go back for more.

Oh man, it's been a while since I faced him.
As others have already mentioned, it is good to be stacked with Heal(Mass) scrolls for the last part of the game.

I do not remember what I did the one time I beat the Lantern King. But general rules of thumb for enemies that are hard to hit are the following:
a) Figure out if there is a weakness you can actually hit! Reflexes, Will, Fortitude, Magic damage in general, AC, Touch AC? If he has a weakness, attack the weakness! (bombs attack Touch AC, I think, but I am not sure. I think there is nothing that bombs can't hit. Do you have bombs?)

b) If there is NO weakness, use something that does some damage even when it fails. A lot of spells work like that, so see if such spells work on him. If direct spells do not work at all, check whether AoE spells work.

Funny story: On my first playthrough I could not hit a Defaced Sister (the one with Vordakai's thingy) at all with anything, and I ended up killing her with
Cure Wounds spells. Or was it Inflict Wounds? One of the two, I do not remember.

Okay, I did it. Boy, that was one epic journey, but talk about combat fatigue in the end. Great game, even if it pissed me off several times, but say one RPG that don't :)

Found a resurrect spell in my inventory that turned the battle. Got my warrior up and for some reason he got in 3 brutal crits that wrecked the lantern king. Stage 4 was easy compared. What choice did you all pick at the end? I went back to the kingdom as a mere mortal. First World and its weird creatures and laws don't interest me or my character much. Also it would feel odd to just give up the kingdom. I also don't trust any of these weirdos, lantern king or Naryssa.

Edit:

By the way, not read much of the sequel. Will characters from this game make an appearance or is it completely different world/era?

Congrats.
As far as the sequel goes, some NPCs show up, and there are references to the new King of the Stolen Lands and stuff, but it is a different region and a couple years later.

These are adaptations of adventure paths, which are meant to be self-contained campaign modules in the Pathfinder universe. I'd not be surprised if a reference slips by, or an easter egg shows up somewhere, but no, these are meant to be standalone.

Edit: Lawntoilet beat me to the answer.

Eh, Lantern King is the King of Donot Trusthim. He is the King of Tricks. He is not even Evil IIRC, but he is completely untrustworthy.
Nyrissa, on the other hand, may have been brought back to the right path, depending on choices you have made. Whether she should be forgiven for what she has done is a different matter. I never forgive Tristian, for example.

A Kingmaker cameo was one of the social goals during Wrath's Kickstarter, but it'll be completely separate and self-contained from any goings-on from Kingmaker.

Yeah. I did spare her and form an alliance with her, but I can't say that I really trust her. It just seemed pointless to kill her there if she could help me with old boy lantern. Thinking she must want some kind of revenge after 1000 years or whatever it was. She was in the battle, but damn, she really tried to wreck me with all kind of spells when I faced her, but she was pretty mild when it came to the lantern dude. Only shot some disintegrate from time to time. She could have shown a bit more spirit I think, or maybe she was just tired :)

Tristian has Touch of Good which can help you pass any skill check in the game, and Harrim has Touch of Chaos which will make any mob have to reroll all its attacks and saves for a round and take the worse value.

Harrim gets +4 racial AC vs Trolls, Giants, and Cyclops and gets Heavy Armor so can tank in those chapters.

There are a lot of good spells in the Cleric spell book that people overlook but shouldn’t. Divine Power is a luck bonus so stacks with everything. Stunning Barrier and Archon’s Aura are great action economy.

Yeah, you should definitely take a deeper look at Cleric's 3rd Circle.
A lot of good spells there.
That's the one that I wanted more slots of.

Animate Dead is fucking effective.
The boneheads will block, takes damage, dishes damage and the summoning dice can be maximized or empowered with the meta-magic rod to yield more per cast.
And they can even get boosted further with Freebooter's Bane & Bond + Bard Songs + Haste.
When I feel too lazy to play combat encounters I just fire off animate dead. It'll tilt the odds to you almost immediately.

I've never had much luck with Touch of Chaos, it almost always misses.

Playing a Druid on hard and summons are garbage so far (level 10).

Large elementals are weak and die nearly instantly to enemies and manticores also.

Will Huge Elementals be worth it?

Manticores are the first ones I’ve seen do reasonable damage, but Leopards shouldn’t die that fast. I try to always go for the high quantity, especially with the Summoning feats.

Undead have better immunities but packs of Dire Wolves, Monitor Lizards, or Leopards do a good job evening up numbers if you’ve got the damage to get the fight over in a reasonable amt of time.

Elementals are immune to crits and sneaks and have some DR if you use them strategically.

Summon Undead is still my best summon spell, doesn't need a single feat.
