Are monk levels worth it as a wildshape druid? do the bonuses to ac and unarmed strikes actually make it through?
Natural attacks (from Wildshaping) are not the same as Unarmed Strikes.

Monk isn't that good for Druid.

Not sure if it's in this game but in PnP you can wear Ironwood Full Plate and enchant it to give you the bonus even when you're Wildshaped.

That is what I thought about the attacks... still might be worth a dip just to get WIS + to AC.. I assume you are considered unarmoured when wild shaped? Not sure it will matter anyhow as I'm not lawfully aligned.

32 AC in combat with level 1 character from start.

This game is so fun!
At level 1? How?

10 Base
2 Size
6 Dex bonus
1 Deflection (Tartuccio ring)
4 Armor
4 Shield
2 Dodge Fighting defensively
3 Dodge Fighting defensively

Shield, Reduce person, Mage armor.

Next level is monk, auto add +4 AC from Wis and +1 from Combat expertise and +1 AC from Dodge feat.

36 AC at lvl 2.

First bandits have +9 to hit, so really you need 28 AC to reliably tank them. So can drop 3 AC for some time.

Also seems everyone have Valeria in their parties while in hub my game this bitch joined forces with evil faggots despite that i saved her soldier...What the fuck?
You can get her back later.
While reassuring, I don't think that's the point at all. It's a pretty serious bug, especially since it has both mechanical and narrative repercussions.
It's not a bug. She is an ex-paladin and not a force of goodness anymore; all she cares about is the law. She will not follow your character (instead you get the dwarf) if you steal the soldier salaries (there us even a dialogue from Linzi warning you about this action). Saving the soldiers (or telling her to leg it) determines whether you get Linzi or the undead elf.
Interestingly, I did not take the salaries, but instead, but I did break into the armory, but arguing that it was not the time for keeping track of what was legal or not, it was deemed acceptable by both Valeria and the lady of the house, whatever her name was.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
but their Pathfinder thread is a disaster of lolling over how bad and buggy game is, circle-jerking about how its only audience are masochistic Russian grognards, or feeling the need to qualify their enjoyment of the game with things like 'but of course Deadfire is objectively much more well made, even though I'm having so much fun with this dumb game', like they're ashamed of liking it.
It appears it is time I made an educational thread on the Obsidian forums once again...

"Baldur's Gate was always our beloved reference," said Shpilchevsky. "We strove to recreate the best feelings one may remember from playing this great game. It did not mean our only goal was to make a blunt copy of Baldur's Gate, but let us be honest, the 'Would Baldur's Gate be better with this stuff?' benchmark was applied almost to every new feature or piece of content we were considering."

This is why, despite any flaws KM has (and, it has them), this game is pretty damn good. It simply gets it.
Thanks, I had asked if the game had been marketed as a spiritual successor the same way PoE was. This answers it.

Pretty much the complete opposite of what Sawyer did with PoE. He tried to stray away from the BG formula as much as possible, because he doesn't like the series and thought he could do it better.
But this did not prevent him from namedropping Baldur's Gate left and right, all while he was "fixing" various parts of its gameplay and style which were not only not broken, but are its best parts.

the ship combat was so underwhelming I can't even believe they used it as a selling point
I wonder if its being designed by Josh had anything to do with the marketing emphasis. The ship combat was a sideshow, and people following the game's development understood that, but since these people are a minority, most of the audience felt disappointed by te ship combat.

BTW, Sensuki have you tried Kingmaker yet?

You're fine, there's plenty of people there who are enjoying the game - and, from what I'm hearing on the Codex, rightly so. I still don't have time to play, sadly.

Butthurts will see only what they want to see.

Restarted earlier today with better optimized magus. Is there a good reason to spare that fuckface from the technic league when you rescue your two love-struck companions?

The game is over 80h+ (at least)

Be a man, commit to something :)

PCGamer review is out:

"A good RPG with some unique ideas, but one that ultimately plays it too safe to really stand out from the crowd."

Edit:
Quick reminder: they gave Deadfire a 88 and Bard's Tale 4 a 84.

LOL. The Kingmaker gameplay element alone makes it stand out from the crowd. And what is that crowd anyway it has to stand out from? Deadfire? That's one game. If they think like that, Deadfire is also not standing out from the crowd.

Lets ask them to be able to re-spec story companions. You miss a lot by going custom. But without custom i wouldnt even try Unfair (past prologue).

One thing that probably others have mentioned but which I have not run across yet is that I really like the game is smaller in scope. I get so tired of "Save the world against the Gods....plot twist! you are a god too!" type plots. I have always enjoyed more mundane and 'realistic' goals, like wars, trade, political plots, etc..

They might still pull that out later, but I agree. Not only that, it feels like it has more immediate impact and has more personal weight to it. Krumping the stag lord and getting your shitty little barony in bumfuck nowhere oddly enough feels like more of an achievement than completing "Impossible" tasks in a lot of other RPGs. It's not that it's especially difficult in and of itself, it's just that you spend a fair chunk of the game before a whole new aspect of it opens up in front of you and first brush with it at least feels like it might have some meat. But even though you're just bossing some grubby peasants around in the mud of some backwater that's only of mild interest to your political neighbors you feel like all of those button presses it took to get here were retconned into the awesome button. Either that or I've just got an unreasonable boner for this kind of thing.

To be honest the NWN2 OC campaign part where you started as poorfag rapefugee from bumfuck-nowhere then climbed up the hierarchy of either corrupt police force/:obviously:mob to finally got knighted and develop your own little castle was best the part of plot. Same with Baldursgate 2 and Awakening DLC for DOA. Morrowing build your own town comes to mind too; you really needed to work hard for those unlike modern games when you finish tutorial and boom five minutes later you are the Dragonborn Archmage-Vampire-Werewolf or such shit.

Ok, since noone wants to help - cheated to max level on Test character to see spells.

Greater shout seems bugged, it gives 4d6 rounds of stun, half if save.

In original pathfinder rules - it is 4d6 rounds of deaf.

the game is based on the kingmaker campaign module.
on a pnp rpg it’s hard to put on one player the chosen one tag (for example the chosen one die= campaign end?), instead give the group a castle or similar at a certain point is pretty common and in addition can merge with other adventures/campaign.

instead being the chosen one create more railoading “we must help the chosen one better ignore other stuff the prophecy is more important”
