I think there is some bug with my Linzi, I can only use bard song only once before resting while number on the corner clearly says 13...

Can we make a separate thread for builds and strategies so that there is something useful to read?
Who are you asking for permission? If you want such a thread, just fucking make one and link it.

I was just too lazy to make good first post. I need to think about builds and shit so if someone already has buncha tips and builds wuda been better to make the thread is all.

yes plz

Looks like the Heart of Rage main story quest is bugged. After you complete it you can't use Amiri anymore -- she disappears from the capital and if she hasn't yet disappeared from the Flintrock Grassland map then she just repeats her pre-quest dialogue about the plan. It's been reported on the Steam forum a few days ago now, and it also appears that the alternate path during this story point (looking into the new Bloom) is also bugged. So it seems like chapter 4 is just fucked in general right now.

My only bother is that my wizard with spell focus + greater spell focus (enchantment) and Int 20 (so a DC of 10 + 5 +2 +1 or sleep) fails in 90% of cases to enchant enemies with Sleep or hypnotist or daze at *level2*. What gives? Am I making some error?
DC of 18 isn't that high. A level 1 enemy with +0 Will has a 15% chance of resisting it. With bonuses due to extra stats + general bonuses from difficulty or just plain Owlcat fuckery, a much higher chance to resist shouldn't be out of the question.

I think that the latter is the case and enemies have way too many hidden boni. I want a transparent understanding of what a DC 20 Sleep spell is targeting damn it.
There are no hidden bonuses, you can read all rolls in the combat log.

Is anyone working on a mod to reduce the loading screens because the load time from kingdom map to travel map makes me want to hang myself.

If that's possible, can't we have a mod that increases the loading times. I want to be able to read the loading tips out loud with the voice of Eugene Weber.

Someone can suggest some nice builds for Linzi? Since I cannot respec her stats in some way, I need somehow optimize her, because hiring mercs expensive ( fixed my problems with hiring btw) and game does NOT easy forgive party where one member have a bad build.

P.S. Yeah, I know that on first level mercs cost 500g, but still.

Last Azlanti = Iron man, you have only one save and if your main character dies, the save is erased.

Someone playing in this mode with a higher than Challenging difficulty? To know if someone made it far into the game with this difficulty or if I am the only madman that will die trying.
Nah,even on the codex we don't have that many try hard insane people. The game is at leats 80 hours, you will die no matter what!

 Still harder than deadfire.
You pirated the unpatched version with bugged difficulty, so, no.

Not a pirate but CODEX released the patches go torrent as well
Oh, no need. He is the PoE master who finished Deadfire on normal thinking he is playing on PotD.
Don't be a retard mate. I play on normal and sometimes(like poe2) on hard, don't really care about try hard autists that haven't even finished the game. You restart the game and min-max you char as much as you like, just don't push that shit under my nose!

In the version you played every difficulty was Normal. But it's true, what do we care how someone plays his single player game? As long as he keeps his dumb opinions to himself afterwards ofcourse.

This game has two important reasons to not play ironman unlike BG.
1. You cannot retreat during combat as you cannot leave zones.
2. There is no accessible raise dead for your companions. You cannot even raise them until they are lvl 3 at least.

highly suggest maxing stealth on a character and putting the +10 stealth cloak(city vendor) on them, you can avoid every encounter on the road

The game difficulty: Vision of the studio.

Hail to the Kings and Queens!
Lately, we’ve received a lot of questions from you regarding game difficulty. Our bad – we should have realized sooner that our view on the matter may differ significantly from what some of you are used to. A lot of games tend to use the “normal difficulty” label for their casual mode which requires minimal input from the player. Knowing this, many players choose “hard” or higher by default every time they start a new game just to make their experience at least a little challenging. Well, this isn’t quite how things work in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
We decided to be honest with our players from the start, so in our game “normal” really is what you’d expect from “normal”: a bit of challenge and a fair amount of Pathfinder experience. It is a mode that you can play on and not feel that the game is playing itself for you. Still, it is also a good choice for those getting their first taste of the game, as well as for those who are yet not familiar with the Pathfinder system but would like to dig in. The “hard” mode is literally hard – expect many tries, a lot of saving and loading, get ready to feel anger rise in your chest as your persistence is put to the test. The game will require you to think long and hard on your moves and to use potions, scrolls, spells and abilities wisely. You’ll have to learn about your foes’ weaknesses and use them. And as for the “unfair” mode – well, enough said, it IS unfair! It is for the most hardcore of gamers, for those who enjoy a real freakin’ challenge. Do not expect it to be just hard. Expect it to be soul-crushing. “Story mode” is for those who enjoy the game world and the storyline more than they do fighting, tactics and min-maxing.
So, please, do not rush to choose the hardest difficulty level right at the start. We expect you to be the wise and provident ruler of the Stolen Lands. Measure your skill, have a proper taste of the game first, and whenever you’re ready – feel free to switch to a more challenging level. Or an easier one, if that’s what rocks your boat. And if the existing difficulty levels are not enough, remember you can always tailor the rules to your individual taste in the options menu. We are also currently working on even more deep and detailed difficulty settings to make sure you can set the gameplay to your liking.

Nevertheless, we really appreciate your comments about certain unbalanced encounters. We're not planning to lower the whole difficulty level of the game, but we constantly note all your requests and are doing our best to fix all the problems and adjust the balance (some of them are already fixed - check out the Hotfix letters). Thank you!

A lot of games tend to use the “normal difficulty” label for their casual mode which requires minimal input from the player.
