Been thinking about playing this game with this glorious mod. I have many games to play however so are there going to be many more changes to it or is it mostly complete? Should I wait a bit? Cheers to the maker.

Would you consider any media with strong able-bodied women 'woke'?
It depends on the reason for making the character a woman.

If the reason is to have tits jiggling in bikini chainmail, it's not woke.

If the reason is show a stronk, empowered wymyn who's just as stronk as any man, it's woke.

Still a based mod though.

the latest realistic games, that i can recall, were battle brothers and kingdom come since its mono-racial and only men in combat. there's also unremembered cases like the first assassins creed

then they have authentic but not realistic games like AoD or vikings expeditions, where you can have women in combat but you can comment or others will comment that it is rare, or arcanum for race remarks

after that is the modern fantasy level where they'll be all races, sexes, orientations, but some degree of grounding. its not like some dog breeding where some pups just come out black, the brown man will be from amn, if some one is gay its not passive player sexuality but acknowledged as different.

finally we reach 'woke' where random people are black (but not asian) and for some reason a gay couple embrace for awkward amount of time in some main quest then you continue without comment

frankly, i'm just happy they still allow evil routes instead of censoring the whole affair into a movie game. I think the homos only allow it out of a satanic angle...and in the context of the thread its pretty blatant the only reason to endorse a white women over a black one is racism. I don't think equating being woke to not being national socialist is very good optics, perhaps asking their inherent desire for representation be weighted with explanation or choice? With seelah, I don't think the idea of a soft paladin is bad, there's even opportunities to reprimand her if the thought sickens you (or your character)

I'm not sure what you mean here. Is this just a convoluted way of saying changing Seelah to the redhead is blatantly racist?

I would say it's complete enough to play through without the most in-your-face woke elements like Alphabet characters and whatnot. But I am still working on things here and there as I play through and identify more things I want to change. This whole project began as just doing some modifications for my own playthrough, for personal use. Some folks encouraged me to release it to the wider public.

They want their own degeneracy, they just hate phags

Any drawbacks?

I get it that stronk and fyerce warrior wombyn are full of shit. On the other hand, traveling with an entourage of scantily clad hot sluts always trumps being in a company of burly men. Choices, choices...
It's normal to want attractive females in the game and modding more of them into the game is perfectly fine.

But don't pretend the mod is trying to make the game less 'woke' or 'more medival fantasy accurate' or anything when it leaves the female paladin in it. Be honest, don't be a hypocrite like those libtard.

Mod author here.

Since when is removing all 'warrior wamyn' a prerequisite for non-wokeness? Would you consider any media with strong able-bodied women 'woke'? Was Xena: Warrior Princess or Buffy the Vampire Slayer woke to you?

Woke is about CRT and LGBTQ2*$5LMNOP shit being forcibly injected into media where it doesn't make sense to be because no thought has been put into it to try to make it even remotely realistic or reasonable. Woke is NOT about misandry or misogyny. Not IMHO, anyway.

Unironically, Chile(with Uruguay) is one of the best countries to live in South America. They have pretty decent living standards.

We don't care about optics. We don't want a negress in our entertainment, and that's final.

Also, racism and national socialism are worlds apart. Just ask anyone who participated in Normandy landing what did he think of negroes back in the day.

perhaps asking their inherent desire for representation be weighted with explanation or choice?

Excuse me? It's a fucking mod we choose to install. Should we poll negroes if they're ok with our choice first? Their inherent desire for representation applies to THEIR copies of the game, not OURS.

The mod has been updated to version 1.5.

This version changes the portraits for Anevian and Trever to ones that better suit the established aesthetic of the game. For those that want to keep the previous portraits, I have updated the WW_Portraits package to include them along with the new ones. One will have to use a custom portrait manager in order to set them to the characters in the game, though.

This update also brings partial DLC6 compatibility. I say 'partial' because although everything seems to be working, and I have already edited DLC6 text dialog to make revisions where necessary (i.e. 'Seelah' to 'Seelie', etc), I have NOT had time to do the new audio work necessary to change any of Seelah's audio to Seelie's voice, and to change any other character's mentions of Seelah by name to Seelie, etc. I will endeavour to do this audio work ASAP, but I do not have a timeline for it. It's a busy time of year, unfortunately.

NOTE: The only modules changed as a result of this update are WW_Anevian, WW_Seelie, and WW_SosielTrever, so these are the only ones that need to be redownloaded and reinstalled.

I'm not really interested in this mod for a very simple reason: I usually play evil characters in any rpg that allows that and this game in particular has some great paths available for evil play-throughs and the fact that there are so many woke elements gives me even more motivation to play an evil character and destroy their retarded world. If I removed all the woke BS, I would simply diminish the amount of satisfaction that I feel at the end of the game.
Also, the installation process looks really horrible. Couldn't this be implemented as a Unity Mod Manager mod?

How so? Download an archive, extract it, run a BAT, point the process to your savegame folder, point the process to your game install folder. How is that 'really horrible'?

To my knowledge, no, it can't be implemented as a Unity Mod Manager mod because my mods utilize the Owlcat Modding Template paradigm, which is a different modification method.

If someone were to take my content and transform it to the UMM paradigm then it could, sure... but that's not how I made the mod and I'm not going to convert it to UMM.

Wokeless Wrath has been updated to version 2.0, which brings the addition of a new module: Race and Gender Distribution Implementation.

2.0 (addition of WW_RaceGenderDist module) - 6 July 2024
  • This module implements the following changes to the base game of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous:
    1. In vanilla, the game chose certain multi-spawn distributions (like when spawning in crusader recruits, etc) at random. However, the game had a built-in (but unimplemented) system where the distribution of spawned in units could be weighted by race and gender. For example, if a distribution is set to a BaseWeight of 1.0 for males and 0.0 for females, all units spawned will be male. I decided to implement this system because I didn't like seeing groups of soldiers/recruits etc with a 50/50 (on average) distribution between males and females... I felt like it would make more sense if females were represented at about a 1:5 ratio to men in such scenarios. Therefore, females have been set to a BaseWeight of 1.0 and males are set to 5.0.
    2. You can modify the races and genders yourself by modifying the values for the weights in the .patch files in the Bundles folder of the mod.

Something odd happened after installing this: after a reload, for any reason, previously dead enemies have respawned all over the current map. I don't know if it's related but I haven't changed anything else, other than starting this new game in Core difficulty.

Wow really? I'll have to test that out. Maybe there's a deeper reason than I realized that Owlcat decided to abandon this spawning method.

Can you tell me what type of enemy units you've observed this behaviour for? I'm wondering if it's ALL enemies, or just a certain type.

I'm in the shield maze, so random cultists, cambions, etc. And the guy with the exit key is missing so I'm stuck.
That's really odd... I wouldn't have thought anything in the latest module would affect saved games at all.

Have you tried uninstalling the latest module (WW_RaceGenderDist) and reloading the save?

All you have to do to deactivate the module is remove the WW_RaceGenderDist line from the "OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json" file in your LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous folder (the folder where your save games are located).

If the WW_RaceGenderDist line is the last entry in the json, make sure you also delete the comma after the preceding entry (the last item in the "EnabledModifications" array should not have a comma after it).
