What's the point of fucking a bug girl if her portrait just looks like a human with a blue tinge? The whole appeal of bug girl is that she's got some weird stuff going on. That portrait is a little disappointing. She's a mutant bug girl, go crazy with it, like her official art work. Bug girl has been hollywoodized; where even the characters who are specifically suppose to be ugly are hotter than 99 percent of the population. Based off of the portrait I'd rather go bug than Camila.

Taking suggestions for MC. Leaning toward Preservationist (Alchemist with summons) or Brown Fur Transmuter (Arcanist Superbuffer/Shifter) but Furry was bugged on Alfa so wary of that one.

3.5/PF crafting is pretty fun by the rules though, you can do some crazy stuff assuming you have the requisite feats, spells, time and skill points.

It also solves the issue with Kingmaker of many weapon types being underrepresented in loot.

Beta first impressions: alright, I have a bit of time over lunch to take a look at this, guess I'll try chargen at least and... wow, what is all this stuff? *buried under flood of new classes and subclasses*

It's actually kind of cool, it reminds me of those old games that had like 90 classes all described in a giant manual. Compare, say Dragon Age, with its 3 classes.

UI is similar but improved and the new portraits are good. Literally as far as I got, it might take days before I can even get through class selection.
