Does the demon invasion warrant such an extreme reaction like giving yourself over to the Swarm to stop it, though? If we think about this as if we were actually that character in that situation. It seems like all the evil paths are somehow worse than the demon invasion?

This is what happens if the players fail in the Wrath AP. It is not inconceivable that someone would take extreme measures to try and stop it. The road to hell (or the abyss) is paved with good intentions, after all.

What's even better is that Sosiel is purely gay. He won't romance female PC.

They pretty much ARE uberbroken, unless they changed them in Beta. Azata gains something like Fast Healing 50.

Didn't see that, seen teleport to casters, arrowfireball and chain hideous laughter.

Regaining 50 hp per round in a system where you can get hit by dozen attacks or attacks doing 1000 damage seems like mediocre investment actually. Compare to that epic mage armor which adds your epic level to AC of said spell for example.

For people who like determenism you can finally get ability to not autofail on 1. whatever its worth.

Is this still rtwp + TB?

Are encounters still designed the same for both combat modes?

Do companions have proper AI scripts like in the infinity engine games or do they still only auto attack and cast one ability?

Because in the first game it sucked to fight all that rtwp trash in TB mode.

Yeah. Casuals are going to have a difficult time for this one. RIP Game Journos. It might be why they are hyping all the romance fantasy. Hopefully it's mostly hype. Otherwise Owlcat's next adventure might look like this:

Not really. If played as designed with a full team single-classed beats multi-class 90% of the time and multiclassing these companions will be more difficult than in P:K. Only real decisions are what Feats/Skills/Spells to choose and which companions to bring.

Splashes trade limited short term benefit for gimping build rest of the game which is why they’re irresistible to meme builders/journos who only play a couple levels if that.

You get the multiclassing benefit through playing a hybrid class and/or mythic stuff.

People are streaming the game, it's not under NDA anymore. They said so in the Kickstarter update.

I just had my doubts since I don't see any screenshots being posted ITT by other users that have beta access.

We're busy trying to figure out what isn't broken.
