No. However, I got really far in alpha before I lost interest. Played some beta - but it's more of the same. Was very keen for the Turn Based mode, but to my frustration, it's half assed. It's also hard coming back to the rather clunky gameplay; I couldn't stomach it.

To be frank with you. I'm not sure Owlcat will be able to "fix" this game in time for its release. I recommend doing what me and others did with Kingmaker. Wait a few months to a year, after the game drops. Then jump into it. You'll probably have a more enjoyable time that way. Hopefully by then we will have functional enemy AI that can use five foot step rule.

Fuck now you got me thinking about it. I could come up with quite a bit of mega epic fights that will make the player feel epic and that he had achieved something fun. Holding up a crypt that has few hundreds of undead and actually killing them all when the main object is to retreat. Or fighting two dozens of mindlflayers,each commanding ten tralls and a brainstealer dragon at the same time. Or storming a castle and having your party split where you have tanks come from the broken wall while your dexterity ones are climbing the wall and fighting the archers. You have like hundred shield and sword militia and hundred pike militia in formation at the crack,while getting peltered by a few dozens archers.

Sounds like something halfway between an RPG scale and Dominions5/Wesnoth scale

Not really,just rtwp end game content. 10 dudes with level 20 could end up in some epic battles.

Always have. Ever since I started the channel with Kingmaker. It's a small channel with a small following. No one really cares, at least no one has said anything about it. Besides, I like watching myself play video games. It'd be annoying listening to myself talk about how to beat a encounter.

Cam, Seelah, Ember, Aru, Wen, and Nen. Going to run with a gal squad again with the token men for personal quests.

Yes. It does. In spite of that, if you're playing below hard, enemies will get killed in one hit by you. If you're playing above hard, simply maxing the difficulty settings. Enemies will one hit *you* to death. There's no middle ground. It's either stupid easy mode, or super dice rolling simulator. Kingmaker was like this too. It's like playing a silly hack and slash game, instead of a tactics game.

It was supposed to have real sliders instead of the stupid P:K sliders where skill check difficulty falls under monster strength.

That’s overstating matters, but it does double count (it raises both stats and the things that stats determine at the same time).

Pretty sure they can and will. Important thing is they make sure to have the exact same Poz fanfic as every other game so that everyone can stand on the same irrealistic edge together.

So I finally kickstarted the beta from some nice anon. Visually it looks purdy with the lighting and shadows. Character creation...lol its going to scare away players more then kingmaker is with its 50 something classes and does a poor job telling you what is different between them. Character models need more art done.

The game definitely need more voice acting work done. See the problem with WRPGS if they have paragraphs the player has to read through I rather skip through it and read a book instead. JRPGS like Suikoden handle dialogue a lot better at MOST the player going to see 3-4 lines of dialogue on screen at once. And the protagonist is usually silent so you not reading through paragraphs of dumb shit like hows your life? you dont have any friends? Hows the weather look?
