Because that’s what I’m good at. Still learning how to play caster. This time through looking forward to going for save or die since no Rogue, no Bard, no Freebooter means I might have to.

Ember just got -4 to Saves unstoppable Evil Eye but Nenio doesn’t get Mythic Spell Pen until I kill Chapel boss. With Ch 3 equipment should be able to get it near 20 by then, with DCs close to 30?

If I can bring Saves down by 6-10 should be doable, not sure if I’ll be able to force reroll by then or not.

I mean you’re right, but easy save or dies are boring so glad you are. Debuffs like Shaken and Archon’s still working well I think but Prayer is effected by SR.

10 + 7 int + 4 (staff, ring, and no rings do not stack in any way, amulet) +6 level + 3x focus yeah I think it's 30. But you beat sr and 2 checks (if we're talking invis killer) so a misfortune hex is probably a must.

I don't like it that there so far (2.5 chapters) are no enemies you can't just bash with weapons.

Well I guess we can count Drezden keep froggy ambush and some incorporeal creatures. Not that you can't bash them with weapons either, but there should be more of enemies like that.

I can bash them with weapons because I’m the (second) best there’s ever been at that. And I got fucked up by Swarm Queen and Pain guy and a certain dude with a big Axe first try on Hard in the Alpha. And there’s that lvl 20 Demon on Chapel map who’s no pushover. But yeah not like they’re weak to spells either.

They did take SR off of Garg High Cleric. Probably oversight but would be good idea to do with a few bosses regardless.

I for once actually rolled a melee char and didn't actually use (offensive) spells at all for the most part - I only added Nenio to party because I LARP evil and needed that extra Evil dialogue option to

and become a Lich. (Yeah, game blocks you on mythic if your alignment is wrong: I wanted to be Lawful Neutral/TN lich, ala Dustmen from PST).

To be all contrarian and stuff I would probably try and roll a specialised Abjurer and whine every time I don't get to dispel something and use that dispel stun feat.

By Big Axe dude you mean in sunny lady location right? There are 2, one melee and one with 2 throwing axes with 12 attacks per round or something.
I think his AC is very low due to rage and stuff though? I think I just won ini and killed him with 1 guy close to dead. Thrower also had very low AC. Dragon had 45 AC afaik but its AI prefer ice breath a few times before going for melee. If you pick Evil option (I of course did) you get 2 extra rangers to deal with, with very low Will - a fox is fine too material.

Arushalae solved my bard/etc. problems. (I don't think sharing enemy should also share on her twice though.)

Since you've reached that part, can you tell me what happens if you refuse to compromise on your alignment? Does it block you from progressing at all unless you do, does it strip you of your Mythic powers or something else?

For Lich it blocks quest to transform into one. Maybe you can change alignment later idk.

Maybe since crafting is in the game this time we will be able to add the Keen enchantment to our weapons? Just speculating though, I'm not a rich fucker who can play the game

Aspect of Falcon. Cam’s class has Weapon Enhancement too. Feels like I’m forgetting something.

Other thing about Improved Crit is that it’s late enough to already know what weapons you’ve found so you’re not locked in early.

This is brilliant. This bardiche that is a pick is a +4 weapon that is a +3 weapon that uses intelligence instead of strength for hit and damage. Is there anything else it'd like to sub out? Maybe it could weigh 6lbs but actually weigh 4lbs.

Only one I've seen before Grey Garrison is Decimation, which is +1 cold iron, and does 1 con damage on crit hit.

Man those weapons that can drop from map encounters do look cool... but what if your character specializes in a certain weapon that doesnt have cool artifacts for it? How do you handle it on a blind playthrough? Because this pathfinder system sure as hell has a LOT of options

Very few classes need to actually specialize in a specific weapon. I don't know if they added some exotic stuff in WotR, but in Kingmaker basically only the Sword Saint had to choose a weapon and stick to it.

D&D weapon specialization in cRPGs regularly gets critiqued for exactly this reason

By people who can't understand that +2 to damage is a worthless feat.

You need spec to use intimidation and such, also for crits and as a warrior, you're usually flush with feats so why not.

Power Atk is Prereq for Cornugan. I will eventually pick up Weapon Spec (and several classes get it free) on Fighter or sometimes earlier but the point is that it’s not worth giving up the option of using a much better weapon.

Once you find one you like knock yourself out.

Yeah, Shad, was already planning how to get Abjuration on Nenio. Only way you’re Dispelling half that shit regrettably, and new Dispel Feats look like big fun.

P:K had good late equipment to boost Dispel so counting on that. There were some Goggles in the Tavern in Alpha that gave you a True Strike effect for a Single Dispel per rest but they weren’t working properly.
