As I wrote here countless times: what reviewers see as "bugs", what common players see as "bugs", what codexers see as "bugs" and what Owlcat Games QA know are bugs - are very different things.

Game breakers are unacceptable. This isn't a Russian STALKER mod and it isn't supposed to be a puzzle to see if you can get past a game breaking issue.

If the reviewers are mistaken that's fine, but I've seen more than one mention of game breakers that required reloading saves, which incidentally was a common thing in Kingmaker.

Defending Owlcat from casuals being dumb is fine, but defending bugs and technical issues is silly.

That said, hopefully a lot of these are covered in the big day 1 patch.

Tranny game? They haven't gone woke have they?
For the particularly inbred backwater rejects, the mere existence of a non-straight character anywhere in a game is enough to call it woke trash.
So... take comments like that with a grain of salt.

Unless they upped their preaching game and you now have companions just going in-your-face with their unrelated sexual desires and opinions or whatnot, it should be fine.
(Remember that character in ME:A that just met you and poured her entire trans backstory on you? Ugh. Nothing like that was in Kingmaker, at least.)
Kingmaker didn't bother with woke preaching. It had a few moments where some characters derped out with insanity, but those characters usually at least had an in-setting reason to be the mess that they are (e.g. Amiri's misandry).

You're in for quite a ride unless you spend time on Chapo and that's your thing. They do have the "you just met me, let me tell you about my non-binary wife" character, and you'll meet them very early.

The best thing about Owlcat is they somewhat let you ignore these characters or tell them to fuck off, but WOTR is much more "this character is special and you WILL acknowledge their specialness" about it.
Yea.. NO. My Necromancer cares not for problems of petty mortals.

Yes, but what about user reviews?

Usually, what makes most sense is to browse a bunch of these and look for common criticisms, because those are usually true.
At this point we know more than enough to form a decision on "buy/pass". The only question is buy now or later. This is very subjective because everyone balances their personal itch to try the new toy, the chance to comment the game with other early players, versus the fear of breaking your experience with bugged quests or abilities. It's so subjective that I don't know how much reading reviews would help you form that decision. If there is something that's both gamebreaking and so frequently encountered that it's mentioned in many reviews, then journos themselves will no doubt report on it anyway. And depending on how much you are inclined to knowingly jump in and treat the bugs as part of the fun, it may still not be an argument to dissuade you. Although it certainly won't be an argument to persuade you - hey, more bugs, let's play now!

I've been watching the store page of the game and it seems they've moved the camera perspective to be a bit lower. Is it really so, or am I imagining?

Well it's been bugged with Trickster crit thing I think quadruple counting or something. Still seems pretty OP.

Wanted to ask since you played a lot beta, is this game good? How it is compared to Kingmaker?

It’s pretty great. Ask if you have any questions.

It is same difficulty?
How many timed quests?
Amount of content is same?

Story is easier, unfair is harder. Core is reasonable but a little on the easy side even without worrying about party comp. hard is comparable to P:K Unfair.

Time is less of a factor and you’ve got more rests, but not unlimited. Feels like a lot more content.
