Yeah, pretty much. I think there's 6 acts? You only have to deal with her in about 2 of them. In the third act you can just ignore her for the most part and in act 4 she's not present at all.
And yes, she's a Paizo character. Owlcat is not to blame

https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Irabeth_Tirabade

Irabeth Tirabade is a half-orc paladin of Iomedae. She served in the Eagle Watch in Kenabres.1

After their legendary career in the final Mendevian Crusade to close the Worldwound, Irabeth and her wife Anevia Tirabade retired to rural Mendev to live in her parent's old farm. But simple and calm life turned out to be unsuitable for Irabeth, and soon, plagued by a feeling that she had abandoned her duties by retiring, Irabeth set out to help rebuild and reclaim the demon-scarred north. Still, even though she is accompanied by Anevia, it is uncertain how long will she be able to continue to serve

It gets even spicier with Anevia

https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Anevia_Tirabade
Anevia Tirabade is an human rogue from Nisroch. She went to Kenabres after being rescued by her now wife, Irabeth Tirabade.1

History

She was born Anvenn, a boy in a outlawed guild of thieves, then disguised herself as female while running away from law and felt that being a woman suited her best. Then the change was completed after she drank an elixir that completed the gender transformation.1

Both written by the same person, Amber E Scott, it seems.

I dunno if FFG is as woke as Paizo. I don't think so though, so OwlTrader might not be as cringe.

I think you need TTT :mlady:
Please no, I'm having fun.

Frankly Charges are such a PITA to pull off that being able to nuke half a group in one round is the only way it can feel good.

They’re still cleaning up all the extra damage packets but eventually they will all be gone. Kind of sux because it takes all those procs from too strong to too weak.
I think some of those packets were never meant to be game-changers - only a small extra bonus. Like Living Ram, Death from Above or baby dragon.

On the other hand, Mythic Charge, Boots of Stampede, Deaths Rush and similar are very strong on a Pouncing build even without multi-proccing (which makes them insane).

Honestly things are all over the place so its hard to say. Getting just +3 damage on a charge or a touch attack (I assume the ring was intended to be used with touch attack spells) is so minimal as to be laughable. But then there's plenty of items in the game that are just bad and you'd never use, so who knows.

On the topic of female leadership competence, Anevia is the man who entered a women's competition because it would be so easy to win. And "she" does. Also destroys shit in the first area of the game despite having a broken ankle or w/e. Says a lot when the tranny is the least offensive representation of women.

Is a playthrough with a small party(3-4) viable? I remember in kingmaker there was that mandatory party split part in the bloom.

I'm just reaching natural conclusions.

If in this universe despising sodomites = evil. If in this universe faggots are good.

Then despising sodomites = undead or demon. Not faggots = evil.

Like I said, I didn't meet any demon faggot.

You haven't gotten to Act 4 then. I'm pretty sure that Demon brothel has a Fey twink, and a major character in that act boasts that she's Nocticula's favorite lover.
But honestly, that's fine because fucking anything with a pulse (...or not) is a pretty Chaotic thing to do.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Swarm path is the super genocide path, where everything must die. Its arguably more evil and destructive than the Lich path, because you will at least retain some companions in that path.
You basically become a tyranid hive fleet in swarm. Its a late game path though, so you'll only be able to truly access it in act 5, and you have to make a certain series of decisions in act 2 and 3.

I beat The Ivory Sanctum. I liked it. I have nearly the entire map cleared. Just one more demon stronghold and army, along with a few very minor points of interest. I still have 2 days before the next step in my mythic path triggers. I am completely annoyed that I'm going to have cleared this entire chapter before getting ML4. It's one of the most impactful ML of my trickster build, which is why I'm so irritated.

Doesn't it specifically call out melee touch in the description?
It said any touch attack. I assumed that covers ranged too.
By raw, it does. But I think there are several instances where the guy writing the descriptions wrote "touch attack" meaning "melee touch attack" and I recall seeing, somewhere, the formulation "melee or ranged touch attack" which is redundant because, properly speaking, both are included in "touch attack".

Well, that was on you. You just needed to spend some time for the Mythic quest to trigger. I do Crusade stuff first, then have MR4 for 90% of Act 3 content.

Sanctified Slayer is so backloaded it’s crazy. Is the idea that Judgments get you Swift-clogged so you rely on Studied instead? I use Swift Study alot on Slayer anyway to get that first attack in there and you end up with multiple Judgements that give you a lot of flexibility and scale pretty high. If you’ve played Jae you know.
It’s not like you’ve got Vitals to get a ton of Sneaks in there. Don’t get it.

Judgements are the ones that are back loaded since you already need to waste 1 mythic feat to get Everlasting Judgement. And you don't get your third Judgement until lvl 16 and second Judgement before lvl 8 so their power is exponential to levels.

I also don't understand what's so special about Judgement's "flexibility". The only ones that are relevant are Destruction, Justice and Protection. Destruction and Justice gives +5 to attack and +6 to damage, just 1 damage more than Studied Attack. Is there something about the other Judgement that I am missing?

And you do not need a lot of sneak dies for it to make a huge difference in the first 2 chapters of this game. Sanctified Slayer is strong in early game and gets stronger in late game. You can pretend these sneak dies don't exist in late game which goes to show how absurdly stacked the entire class is. Domains, damage, boast to attacks, pets from domains, bonus feats, Litany of eloquence.

But yeah, I simply hate Judgements because I hate micromanaging them every fight. But there's no reason why vanilla Inquisitors cannot be used instead of Sanctified Slayer. Both are still superior to Clerics.

You don’t need Everlasting. Pretty much all of the Judgements are relevant if you read and think about them because they scale and stack so well. “Managing them” is painless in turn-based. The only issue is having other Swifts you want to use (including Bane Weapon).

Saying that Inquisitor is better than Cleric straight up is retarded. They’re doing different things.

I quit this game again.

It is such a shame because mechanically the game is top notch tabletop - that is why there is so much build porn in this thread I suppose. All it needed to be ace in this regard would be an actual hex grid for TB mode.

World is also infinitely more reactive than most D&D adaptations of the past(i.e: Baldur's Gate, TOEE and NWN), as was Kingmaker. Such a shame that they amped the wokeness to unacceptable levels. I couldn't understand why so much development was invested for instance in having a fucking fully voiced lesbian orc paladin who participates in every single major event in the game and whom you can't get rid off regardless of your alignment or choices. The companions at least you can dismiss. Is this even a canon character in the tabletop game? Probably some self insert from a woke writer or some such. I know pathfinder is woke, but not this woke.

Maybe I will try again in a few months with a mostly player created party. I know they are gimped(20 ability points instead of PC 25), but still. Spider girl, Greybor, Regill and the "Thiefling" are maybe the only companions who don't relentlessly make one cringe.
Orcs are degenerate anyway and they’ve been forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel since a botoxed-up old crone won’t let power slip from her withered claws so have botched the last three crusades.

Seems pretty based take on Californication to me, if you’re familiar with their most powerful politicians there and how much progress they’ve made against their own demons.

IDK, I click thru the dialogue now because it’s just way too freaking much, but there’s enough characters there to put together a team that won’t annoy you to death.

Yeah, not a fan of sanctified slayer. Studied target is very micro-heavy, and before you go "but you study things automatically when you hit them", yeah hitting in order to get an AB bonus is backwards, especially when you're a mid BAB class with less AB and less extra attacks to take advantage of study with. For a large portion of the game you're gonna hit once, maybe hit the next attack, then the rest of your party kills the target. Repeat for every further target. In this scenario only half of your attacks are getting the studied target bonus. Their sneak attack progression is also super awful, anything with Sense Vitals basically equals it.

Not sure how you can say SS is good early game. You don't even get your first sneak attack dice until level 4 (at which point, wow, 3.5 damage on a mid BAB class with no AB boost), and studied target is as I mentioned very weak until you're getting lots of follow up attacks or are prepared to constantly swift study.

Clerics on the other hand are full spell casters, still mid BAB, 2 domains (which is huge, your first mythic abilities are spaced super far out so we're talking several levels ahead in development). One decent domain, lets say Nobility because its an easy comparison, is benefitting your party way more than studied target is.

Well, I beat that Dragon in the Colphyr mines. Its a bit of a rough one. Really high AC and you can't use dispel on it reliably because you need to beat 40.
That Shadow Breath attack deals strength damage, which is a one shot kill on your mages. It does have really low touch AC though, so what I did was debuff its strength and dex with wracking ray to drop its hit chance in melee and its touch AC even further and started throwing hellfire at it. Summons drew the shadow breath attack while melee bois smacked its arse and Lann plinked away at it. Regill still went down though, but not dead.

What's annoying is that Ice Body doesn't protect against the strength drain. I don't know why because it clearly says it protects against all ability damage.

That's not on me. I triggered the mythic path at every opportunity. Right now I am waiting for the fool king's ancient booze campaign event to trigger. I think I have 2 days.

Edit: I played an hour more tonight and finally got it triggered. I hope it will have been worth the wait.

I got the initiative just fine, its just that I couldn't burst her down because of the high AC and I couldn't buff it far enough.
So I had to exploit her disproportionately low touch AC and find a way to get her to face towards a summon on the first turn. What's annoying is that you can't tell your summons to stay put, so what I did was have my MC summon a gold golem over to the far right, have Ember activate the event, use the brief delay before the battle to run Ember over to safety and use the MC's mount movement to get away (as I found that the MC usually gets initiative) and let the golem take the first couple of breath attacks.

What's really annoying is that for some silly reason the golem insists on using spells in combat, which means it eats a AoO, sometimes killing it too early. So I summoned an Earth Elemental and some Axiomites to help it

Does the Aeon Bane not tell you failed dispel attempts? I know it does dispel effects because I would sometimes see the message, but other times I would land a hit, the graphical effect would play and there would be nothing about dispels in the log.

Use the goggles that let you take 20 on dispel checks? Or do you mean that 40 is too high for you to reach ever?
