Insert Title Here Pathfinder: Wrath
This is Unfair stats:

Mephisto Unfair Stats.jpg

He's has Ascendant Element Fire:

Mephisto Ascendant.jpg

Polar Ray works, although you can probably get more out of yours (Nenio is primarily an Illusionist):

Nenio 19 Polar Ray vs Mephisto.jpg

Can also see Sosiel with Dispel, Greater in that pic. Aeon takes care of most of that itself:

Vqan Aeon 19 vs Mephisto.jpg

I think those packets have been fixed.

Lann 19 vs Mephisto.jpgMephisto Seelah 19 Brilliant Energy.jpg

Rest of team chipping in. That -16 AC debuff on Seelah's attack is from Divine Weapon Bond Brilliant Energy. Much better in Wrath than it was in P:K. Ranging Shots Mythic doesn't tick down on hits in TTT.

Mommy, mommy, they're attacking my squishy casters, make them stop, it's illogical! It's not illogical, I spend half my time talking about how to take out casters *because they're dangerous* and I make them a priority if I see them too.

Stop getting games nerfed because you're too lazy to play them. You're fucking it up for everyone else.

What are you even talking about?

It's not illogical and it's not about casters or any other class specifically. It's a bug or, even worse, shitty programming that, depending on persistence, can fuck up a game for you. Which happened to me, this, in tandem with one of the chars becoming immortal, bricked an advanced run because somewhere around the end of act 3 pretty much every encounter started playing out in exactly the same retarded way and the game became completely devoid of challange.

It's not enemies being clever by hitting selected targets with disables or ranged focus firing targets of opportunity. It's 100% enemies suddenly deciding to suicide lemming rush any given char, completely disregarding everyone's positioning, protection, cc et al.

Yes, I want to spoil games for you by expecting basic stuff to work properly 2 years after release.

Wenduag and Camellia are both romances written for women by women who get off to thirty shades of gray. Arue is a romance written for men by women who think that men want to romance a retired porn star.

This is an azata run ('daring' difficulty) after the dragon rescue quest in the fleshmarkets. I tried before Iz and then again after. I had PCs running hither and yon and he had nearly whole damn azata island covered in lava and sirrocos. It looks like the hellfire rays are keyed to Last Stand, with the # fired going up when it triggers.

Edit: 'Wind of Change' is the Azata 'level 9' Mythic challenge. That explains that.

I don't know if they changed this in one of the newer Patches, but back when I fought him with my Azata, I won through Frighten and Attacks of Opportunity. He was not immune to Fear-based effects, and my Azata was an X-level Bard (probably 14 or 15 at the time, can't remember exactly) with one level of Thug for the "Frightening" Feat and was specifically built to have a billion points in Persuasion (or Intimidate, more specifically), so I just had him pretty much permanently Frightened with Cornugon Smash and Dazzling Display.

It took forever to finally bring him down because of all the chasing around, but he was pretty much completely incapable of dishing out any damage to my Party, which was a game-changer, as you can imagine. The Summons were a major pain, but I did my best to ignore them and just focus Meph down hard.

EDIT: I see on Desiderius ' screenshot that he has Greater Heroism on, which makes this strategy null and void unless you can Dispell it somehow. Could be a difference due to Difficulty (I played Azata or Core) or Patch.

Sounds about right.
All of the romances are pretty meh. Even Galfrey.
Galfrey's capacity to be the stupidest cunt possible to your character even as she believes you to be the fucking avatar of Iomedae is only rivaled by her possibly being the worst commander in the history of fiction. I'm pretty sure the only reason she spared Staunton is because she actually thought he had a good idea, considering she literally repeated it.

The only valid romance option is Daeran. Even as a heterosexual man.

Dunno about Daeran, but I do agree that Galfrey is an absolute retard and is probably why the Crusaders have been getting their arses kicked for the last couple of centuries.
Even the Hand was like "lady, chill, he's been doing good work, are you sure you want to strip his titles and command?"
Apparently she's less retarded in the actual PnP campaign, its just that Owlcat did a poor job of adapting it for Wrath and had to come up with a contrived reason for why you have to go to the abyss and why you lose command of your armies.

So to recap -
Idiot of a queen that's too much effort to romance
Degenerate psycho half-elf who's the only straight woman
Half-Lizard boi who's the only straight man
Budget Falls-From-Grace with annoying voice acting
Gross Spider lady
Whiny Cleric who can't take a hint
Snarky pansexual hedonist

All some degrees of meh, Regill best gril

First time I've tried "optimizing" Crusade Mode, managed to get all forts in chapters 3 conquered in 12 days with no units lost.

pVa0C1P.png

I did need to double back a few times. 10 days is probably quite doable, maybe as low as 8 or 9? I did hang around in Chapter 2 to the maximum amount of time possible for the game to consider you as taking Drezen "quickly" (2 months), which I thought was a fair amount. Key is hellknights and getting 3 or 4 halls of strategy up ASAP, in several battles you are better off leaving your other units behind and only using the hellknight stack. Shows how fucking awful Galfrey is that she can't even just hold the damn line.

I am actually playing the game of course rather than just doing crusade stuff on its own so going back and redoing moves isn't an option as it'd require too much redoing of areas.

Daeran being NE is kinda weird. He laughs at people's misfortunes but generally doesn't cause them, except for pranks. He's more of just a neutral or chaotic neutral character. But I guess that'd make him overlap too much with Woljif.

I guess its because of his habit of murdering people and shoving their heads in your inventory. Or that pact he has with that elder god thing.
But yeah, compared to someone like Cammy or Wendaug, he isn't that bad.

I suspect he's Neutral Evil because Neutral Evil are supposed to be those who have no qualms with doing evil as a means to an end, usually for selfish reasons. In Wendaug's case its for survival, in Daeran's case its so he can have as much fun while he still can, often at the expense of others. Which you'd think would more Chaotic, but I guess he isn't that extreme.

Daeran doesn't just laugh at people's misfortunes though, he thrives on throwing salt onto people's wounds. Recall that story about Galfrey's friend/noble knight who died whose helmet he bought just to shit on the guy's memory. He's not as evil as Camellia, or as stupid as a demon cultist, but he is still an anti social misanthrope with a destructive personality. He also has no compunction about killing people to keep his secrets.

Woljif is morally neutral because his primary motivations as a thief aligns him more against authority of any kind. He can be altruistic and egotistic both, whereas Daeran is not just a cunt, but primarily motivated by hedonism and to make the people he dislike suffer. Just compare the way they act in the council.

Or just for shits and giggles.

Wasn't one of his stories about how he faked his own kidnapping or something for a prank and all of his guards actually got killed trying to protect him? When you tell him how fucked up that is, he's all like "Fuck 'em, that was their job. IT WAS JUST A PRANK, BRO!"

I think that one is meant to be foreshadowing the other, since the killed people had their heads sliced clean off if you ask the inquisitor following him. So it is him bullshitting a bit.

Still, it was very funny having the other die to a weird after all that build up. I didn't even need the blacksmith's rod for it because it doesn't have immunities it is just undead so undead bloodline sorcerer bypasses it all.

Literally just did this and found it odd that it gave basically a free level. Though those ghosts are hard to kill.

That's just a prank bro.

Yes.

He's doing things that he finds amusing regardless of the consequences. Whether they are evil or good is not important to him. That is classic CN behavior. He's just as happy to thumb his nose at demon lords as he is gods, and the more powerful the person he's pissing off the better.

I think he's doing them very much with regards to the consequences. He wants to humiliate people, to make them suffer or maybe even die because he himself is a miserable cunt with no way out of his predicament with the Other. He's just a misanthrope with a disregard for life, rather than a serial killer and a torturer. Spite is what drives him, rather than japery. And the only two exceptions to that rule are the PC (who is either a romance or a means to visit his spite on Mendev) and Ember (who is Ember).

He's not intending innocent people die, he's just taking risks and not caring about the consequences to other people.

Not caring whether your actions will get innocent people killed just so you can get a laugh at someone else's expense is kinda evil. I don't think that epithet applies only to those who intentionally go out of their way to kill just for the sake of killing.

Yeah, that's the sort of stuff Daemons like to do, and they are the epitome of Neutral Evil.
Remember that Daemons run on spite, and as such Neutral Evil has a strong element of spite to it.
Going out of your way to make someone miserable, even if other people get hurt in the process, is pretty damn spiteful.
