Do the evil options become not dogshit after chapter 1? So far they're all "murder the orphan for no reason lul".

There is always the "I will murder you for no reason because I'm evil." options and it's almost everywhere. But there are evil options makes more sense in later chapters, mostly related to the evil mythic paths.

Yes thats what i was saying earlier, evil options are most often stupid and nonsensical . Litteraly its" I dont like your face i am killing you" , there i equal owlcat writer skills ! And of course you do it in front of your lawful good companions . You are leading a crusade no one cares if you are a serial killer , a dumb serial killer doing it on plain sight....
Then there's regill , a breath of fresh air, true lawful evil. Somehow i believe this one was written by avelonne or someone who listened to his ideas. There's some point he blames the crusade failing for putting someone like irabeth in charge, oh you are so right regill. Was this some veiled complaint from one of the writers ? Amber scot beeing given too much importance in the writing team ? I suspect so.
Sadly the options the game offer to your characters are most often chaotic stupid .

Judging by who they chose as their spokesphag they might be worse. Wokels are commies and Rus had 70 years of that up the ass.

They've buit themselves a name - no need to pay rent for using Paizo's APs anymore, at the very least (because I'm 100% sure they want to keep milking that 3.5) they can make an agreement and do an original game with 3.5 unrelated to Pathfinder universe.

Alright I've settled on the playthroughs I intend on doing, once the game is in a playable state.

1. Witch -> Trickster/Swarm
2. Hellknight -> Aeon/Devil
3. Paladin -> Angel
4. Cavalier -> Lich (Death Knight)
5. Order of the Pikey -> Azata/Legend

In that order. After that I might go for completion with Demon, full Azata, full Aeon and full Trickster if the game is really good. Not doing Gold Dragon cause that looks stupid.

That's 2 short of optimal.

I had an itch to chim in a bit in Ru-forum since mods there aren't as dingdonbannu type I think, but 1st game also was meh a lot in the beginning, but then something interesting happened with companions and they turned out to not be as horrible (for example I liked dialogue in laboratory in Ch3); and I want to see if Owlcats really fuck up something in Ch5-6 first as well. Companion endings/choices and last chapters would greatly affect my opinion if it's totally screwed and even MCA can't save it or not. (if they ruin muh Ember, it might be required to actually get seriously serious)

You need to pass 2 perception checks, the first one is after you finish with the bug swarm go to her tent and pass the check and loot the perfume talk to her and ask her about the perfume and the final per check is during the gargolye attack in your camp find her and if you pass the check you will get a dialogue that asks her what she's doing with an alchemist fire bomb. Then after you finish the lost chapel talk to her about the alchemist vial and you will get a dialogue where you PC calls her bullshit and she will reveal herself

Explain to me how pozzed writing and companion design relates exactly to "failing game mechanics". I bought the game, I'm enjoying it for its strengths like the combat system but the game is very flawed with regards to other aspects beyond just the combat and build mechanics. A highly rated RPG is well-rounded not incredibly good in one thing and incredibly shitty in another thing.
