DA2 "surprise motherfucker there's more"
I'd usually agree about ninja enemies but we have a different situation here to DA2 by far. DA2 had random recycled bandits ninja from rooftops every fucking chapter. Here, setting is different - teleporting, and flying, creatures harass you and your armies without mercy, and any time you think you are safe, you aren't - even in
your sleep/camp
. This fits narrative of the game well and shows that enemy doesn't just sit on their asses, they are actively working to murderfuck you. And ambushes are put there with a hand of sadistic Russian DM (TM) + enviromental clues, and stuff like
traps that can be disarmed before you touch the banner.
So generally, you just expect rape all the time and get used to it and begin to like it.

Only thing missing in gaem is a good bunch of assassins trying to get your ass when you're collecting/selling loot.

It is ironic that one game has this level of combat crafting but also tries to pander to people who would never appreciate it or just drop in rage even on storymode before they get to minagoparty.

Aaaand Ember, because I hate that "black eyes" design
Stop ruining portraits. Black eyes is very common in elf art, in particular Warhammer and even old D&D.
And detalization and beautification (like with photoshopped Camelia makeup) doesn't make art better; symmetry is good for academical drawings, not everything btw.

Oooo a long sword +2 oh but of course it has no cold iron or any special effect
The items on the +2 stage of the game are real shit. It's like the item guys forgot that there is a Cold Iron req. to stay relevant, so pretty much all of the +2 weapons are vendor trash. Sad. And a bit embarassing.

If I have elves in my party I want them at least pleasing to look at
And there's nothing wrong with beautifull elves to begin with, it's making them ugly with gimmics that is wrong, subversion and all that

Let me start by saying I am a hardcore cRPG fan and I fell in love with the setting of Pathfinder. Because of that, at some point in the future, this will undoubtedly be one of my favourite games of all time.

Right now though?

I don't know what's worse - the fact that there are bugs that will brick your entire gawddamn savegame and completely untested parts of the game in a "finished" product, or the army of owlcat cucks that will jump at anyone and anything trying to point out that this is simply an unfinished game.

"But the devs put some much passion into this", "But I still like it so why are you - ", please, please just shut the dick up.

I do not deny that the developers love their craft. I do not deny that they have obviously poured their heart into this. I do not deny that they are still a step above the burning trashheap that the gaming industry has currently become.

BUT if you run a company that charges money for a product, said product needs to be FINISHED.

no I was talking about sorta bethesda modder approach to Kamelia before that.

funny enough that's how my mind always constructed Camellia's face in my head until I downloaded that HD resolution art and oh boy
I just reconstucted the image from my perfect imagination

I have noble background and longsword focus. The damn dwarf was supposed to have a cool radiance sword but now he’s gone…:argh:

Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
It's a REALLY fun game but the amount of crashing is unbearable. you need to constantly save otherwise youre scrwed. 10/10, two thumbs up, GOTY.
While I agree that the game needs more than a couple of months of hard work to be considered finished, all this talking about crashing is surprising to me. After a bit more than 20 hours, it crashed only once because I alt-tabbed while skipping a cutscene (and in my book that's a legit situation for a game to crash). Right now, WotR is definitely more stable than Kingmaker at release. But that's not a very high bar to surpass, I guess.

Should not the first composite artefact from Storyteller fix this problem?
permanent 30 feet aura around character that makes all weapons count as Cold Iron and Good
I had not tested it yet, so it could be bugged.

So, I'm stuck and I have no idea if it is due to a bug or if I'm missing something.

End of Chapter 3 (I think, could be beginning of 4)

I've just completed the Fane and have ended up in the Abyss.

I'm supposed to look for a second portal key, but there doesn't seem to be anything to pick up on the map.
Walked around pixel hunting throughout the mine and the outside of the area but can't find anything new to click on.
Also tried opening the gate thing outside the mine entrance but when the map opens up there are no interactive objects on it.

Build advice?

Not interested in min-maxing but also don't want to be worthless by midgame.

Ley Line Guardian because I like spontaneous casters and the ability to boost spell DC might be nice. Dex isn't that high because I'm not planning on using ranged touch attacks much, so it's mostly for AC. Charisma is higher than it needs to be because he's also kind of a skill monkey and I need it for persuasion. Necromancy focus because it's one of the ways of killing things I want to focus on. Winter patron for winter witch so that ice evocation is the other way I kill things. Summon spell because that will probably be my third way of killing things and I might spend a mythic feat on buffing them. Atheism because :obviously:. Chaotic neutral because UwU.

Mostly curious about the hexes. Which is best? Took iceplant because AC. Heard that enemies become immune to mind affecting later so is slumber worth it? What should be my bread and butter? Which of the grand hexes are worth it and which are a trap? I noticed one that's supposed to kill you but only after three (or two?) skill checks and then there was another one that turns the enemy into an animal only after one but I don't know if it's permanent.

He is in camp right next to MC when CH 2 begins. He makes you trinket and says he is going to leave.

Is it really? Those two are the top negative reviews on Steam right now and they definitely gave me pause, but, otherwise, I really wanna play the game.
